Freshly prepared sandwich. The bread and vegetables are cut after you order it. Your sandwich may be accompanied with a French dessert called canelé. There are three different formats for your sandwich: Whole*baguette, half-baguette, and one-third baguette.
La Maison du Canelé is a unexpected surprise. They do really good simple sandwiches with real french baguette. We also got homemade soup and Canelé. Just delicious. Staff is nice and friendly. They also have all sorts of frozen goods made on site. Definitely recommend to stop there.
They had almost no pastries, they sneered at me for asking for a type of old fashioned pastry. They weren't outright rude, but it ended up being snotty. Also I bought cannelés and they were very very good. YMMV
