It’s a cafe chain store in Manchester which offers good price breakfasts, brunches and coffee. Staffs were super nice, we just walked in and made note on the wait list. Luckily the table was ready in around 15 mins. My friend and I love the steak sandwiches very much! Imagine the juicy and flavorful steaks were covered by crunchy breads, accompanied by pickled onions and a piece of raw spinach. The layers of flavor exploded in your bite. The dessert was a bit too sweet for me but it’s just my personal preference. The only one annoying thing I could point out was the fruit flies in the cafe. Other than that it was indeed a wonderful experience.
It was nice and comfort restaurant, the vibe was good, very chill. Have a wonderful and lovely brunch here. Always have a long queue outside the restaurant. Luckily, we waited for 15mins around this time in Saturday. The coffee here was good and I love the French toast most. The toast was soft and the strawberries was sweet and fresh.
Visited based on high recommendations from friends and it did not disappoint. We were lucky to get in after a 2-minute wait. The Cheddar Corn Fritters is a must-have! Creative, fresh and yummy dish. We also had the Eggs Benedict and the French Toast with were also really good. The service was also pretty good. Absolutely recommend.
Amazing brunch place. We stayed 4 days in Manchester and went there everyday for breakfast. First of all because they cater for gluten allergy got everything gluten free and secondly the food was the bomb. Also the coffee is really good. Highly recommended! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Lovely little brunch spot, don’t let the queues and wait time tune you off it’s well worth it. I had steak and eggs with a batch filter and a Bloody Mary. Steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. Coffees were tasty and Bloody Mary hit the spot. Can’t remember what my partner had but it was also delicious. Offers on the cocktails. Really enjoyed
We came here on a Sunday morning at around 10ish and there was already a 20min wait for a table, next time I'll arrive a bit earlier! Having said that it was well worth the wait, the decor, atmosphere and service were all brilliant. And the food was amazing, I had the Turkish eggs and my partner the mushrooms and halloumi. The banana bread was something really special, and the macapone spread it came with was so so good. The coffee is also really nice as well. Its dog friendly.
Usually we enjoy going to federal. On this occasion the French Toast let it down. It definitely has changed over the last couple of months and isn't the same standard for Federal. Apart from that drinks and service was on point as usual.
Brilliant place and cracking food. The digital menu is great too because you can add all sorts and customise any meal or drink. We went for brunch and had to wait 30 mins or so but definitely worth it! Just shows it’s such a popular place for a good reason! Staff were so friendly too, really chill place but quick service.
Or arrival, this place looked busy. We were greeted by a lovely friendly staff member, young lady who seated us as soon as a table was made available. Menu is nice and simple. Very easy to navigate around. Which we liked a lot. We ordered the Turkish eggs, French toast, dirty chai and a flat white. The food came about 10-12 mins later. The eggs were poached satisfactorily. The French toast, was to die for! By far the best French toast I've had. The syrup at the bottom was distinctive had something else mixed with is yet flavoursome. It was a really lovely brunch. The dirty chai, again lovey. The flat white, I found a bit too strong, bit of a harsh taste to it, i usually have a smoother coffee but this will vary person to person depending on you own palate. All I can say is, if you visit here, you will definitely be pleased. Vegetarian options: They also had many vegetarian and some vegan options too. See the menu attached.
I currently live in Australia so I always make a point to visit Federal when I'm home in Manchester and it never disappoints. Had the Turkish eggs followed by the toasted banana bread and a great strong capp. Jada is absolutely stunning and always warm and goes the extra mile. All the staff are really nice too. Just a great vibe and much needed antipodean goodness in my home city of Manchester. Thanks Federal
