We ordered a birthday day cake for my daughter and it was Awesome..delivered in the same way we have ordered..Taste was fantastic and yummy..worth of paying money and I strongly recommend this cake shop..Thanks Sabina once again..

I ordered afternoon tea on group on. I tried to get a slot with them several times through facebook messenger everytime i spoke to then they were rude giving me one word answers i tried three or four times and they just kept sayin they were busy or had no tables. Obviously not arsed as they had got the money off me through the group on sale wont be going there or using a voucher for there again

Ordered the Black Forest and Biscoff cake for my house warming. Absolutely delicious looked gorgeous and hassle free. Thank you

I would avoid. Had a terrible experience with sweetbakes with their food. We placed a £50 food order, only for the food to arrive 2 hours late, several items missing/swapped and certain items ineible. The food arrived just over 2 hours after ordering. We had a flight to catch so were quite stressed as to whether the food would arrive in time - and to be honest it didn't arrive in good enough time. We didn't really have the time to eat it as needed to leave for the airport as the food had basically arrived. The worst part was that we called the restaurant several times once it had got to an hour, explaining we needed the food asap as we had a flight. We were outright lied to. We were told the food is leaving "now" only for it to not arrive for well over another hour. We were told it's 5 minutes away and left waiting for another 25 minutes. Several of our calls were not answered or outright declined hung up mid tone bell which very rude anr very frustrating and stressful on our end given that we had already paid. The food finally arrived. Our drinks were missing. We were also told veggie baps would be replaced with cheesy chips as they didn't have any sausages - we got neither a veggie bap or an extra portion of chips. The food itself was very disappointing. The chips were dry and had obviously been reheated - they were inedible. The burger tasted okay but had been flattened in the box it was in. The mozarella sticks were nice, they should have been mac and cheese croquettes, but they didn't have them in. The chicken tenders were the only thing I could say were nice and had no complaints about. Although I essentially spent £50 for just a few chicken tenders and a very stressful morning - it was not worth the 2 hour wait. I have been left feeling quite irate after my experience - particularly the stressful delay and being lied to / ignored. The missing items were also frustrating, and the food was not great, some of it was inedible, but what was edible wasnt worth a 2+ hour wait. Ps this was an order on a Sunday morning at 11am so hardly peak time and hardly bad traffic around. I would avoid.

Very pleased! We were let down by a big company who were supposed to be delivering a birthday cake to my daughter who is at uni. We found Sweet Bakes and called them and they were able to help out and delivered a cake to her the same day. The cake looked amazing and she was really pleased.

Ordered food from here a couple of times with my partner and can honestly say it's delicious and well worth the price. All I'd say is delivery can be quite slow and due to this unfortunately food today arrived colder than usual. But overall a lovely place, not just for desserts

The cupcakes are amazing!! Not only are they decorated to perfection they tasted amazing! Everyone at my workplace enjoyed them. I'll definitely be ordering again! Great service from ordering through to delivery!

First time I've Ordered from sweet bakes. Ordered a fresh cream cake on short notice and it was amazing and everyone enjoyed it!

We love our sponge cakes and are they have to be just right. Sweet Bakes MCR definitely delivered! Sabeena was very professional and open to requests regarding the design of cake we wanted. The cake was a winner all round; the sponge was gorgeous as well as the cream, the amount of sweet was just right. Thank you Sweet Bakes!

I ordered afternoon tea for 2 from Groupon, it was a birthday treat. I looked online and fancied the cupcakes and ferrero rocher cheesecakes. The afternoon tea was lovely and fresh! Cupcakes and ferrero rocher cheesecakes were divine! I would order again but hopefully more choice for the sandwiches. The mixed box of 6 cupcakes was good to share with friends, they loved them!
