Story

In April 2003, La Grolla opened its doors. We have been called "Upscale Neighborhood Italian". We are a place where you can come dressed up for an event or come dressed casual and feel comfortable. We say come as you are.

We offer an amazing menu, great wine list and also offer a full bar. We offer all this and provide it with excellent service.

In the summer don't miss our beautiful two-level garden patio blooming with flowers.

For your next private event give us a call. We can either host it here or cater it to your location of choice.

The crab cakes are phenomenal. I've dined here several times and I have never been disappointed. The patio is a great place to dine, if the weather is cooperating. There is usually a wait, so make a reservation in advance. The staff are friendly and prompt. For the price point, $$, the food exceeds expectations - 5 stars.

Food was delicious! I had the Capellini Pomodoro with Shrimp, and others had the Ravioli with Lobster, so that's what I will try next time. Service was a bit slow, which is OK for date night when you want to linger and take your time; but maybe not for a work lunch when you have a meeting scheduled for an hour after lunch starts. We arrived at 11:30 and left at 1:00. Also be aware that the restaurant is cozy (small), so they can only seat you when your entire party has arrived. Not sure why they felt the restroom was the appropriate place to convey this information, but that's where I saw the sign.

Our server, John, was amazing. We had a really big group and he couldn't have done better. Food was stunning. Only complaint was there were a bunch of fruit flies that kept hanging around our table. It seemed really out of place for such a fancy restaurant.

The server took a while to take our orders. We did not recieve bread until after our pasta was half eaten. There was no water refill until the end of our meal. We ordered the creme brulee and it seemed over whipped and too creamy. The food was good however, so hopefully they can change some things in the future.

La Grolla is pretty darn good! We had a very nice time and the food was great. If there is a negative it would be it gets pretty crowded inside. Other than that it's an enjoyable restaurant.
