La Couscoussière d'Ali Baba

We went there for the first time and the decoration made you feel like you were in the cave of wonders which was really cool. We brought our own wine, which they encouraged. The wait staff were incredibly sweet and very attentive, it was overall just such a lovely experience it was really warm and fun. The food was amazing so full of flavour and it comes with three courses, plus it is very affordable. Definitely would go back. And let me tell you the belly dancer was a real treat to watch

Very beautiful place in heart of downtown. Cozy and friendly environment. Delicious Arabic foods. Friendly staffs and acceptable services. Beautiful belly dancer performed there around 9pm. Completely satisfied.

Totally loved the aesthetics of this beautiful restaurant, their food is too good, make sure to eat small portions if you wanna enjoy the whole 5 course meal. This place is cozy and comfortable, I would definitely visit again

Recommend the “table d’hôte” for a 5 course meal at an amazing price! Delicious authentic tajine and coucous, baklava and mint tea. The belly dancer was awesome, invited many people including myself to come up and dance and it was so fun! Halal for my Muslim friends, but also BYOW for those who drink! And the decor…. Stunning, unique ceiling with beautiful lighting. Couldn’t stop taking pictures of it! Amazing experience for a great price. 1000% recommend for those looking for a new experience or a taste of home ; Will be back!!

The food wasn't amazing, it was either too sweet or too salty for our taste. The best was the bread. Price was particularly cheap, since it is 33$+tax for table d'hôte and we just choose the main plate. Also it is a Byob. The service was soso, maybe because it was a Friday. We had to ask for multiple times for water and bread, the waiter kept forgetting. The place is unique with the design. There is a show of a particular person dressed up and dance around the table and invite guest to dance with them. It was interesting and quite lively. Overall it is a nice experience, worth going to check it out.

Nice restaurant with good decoration and ambience. It looks like we were inside a cavern. The entertainment is great. The show is very interesting. The food is good but a little bit too pricey. And the portion is small. I suggest to prepare a bigger dessert. Staffs are friendly but the services are very slow.

We had a reservation for yesterday for 4 people I spoke my self with the owner the day before and he confirmed the reservation. We show up yesterday at 7pm and it was closed. We called several times no answer. On the website it says open everyday. Really desapointed

scam, they tell you the groupon does not work even though there is zero valid reason, its simply to double charge you, dishonest owners. I do not support this bad business practice.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is amazing, and so generous, you can get a salad, bread and butter, a ribsteak with a side dish for as little as twenty dollars lunchtime. I think it's thirty dollars at dinner time. I have also tried their lamb tagine which is also amazing, same price as above. I plan to try other tagines in the future. the atmosphere is top notch, the place looks like an actual atmospheric grotto with the decor, the tables are meticulously adorned with silverware and white tablecloths, the music is amazing and sets the atmosphere, I would like to visit one day at night to see the belly dancing. this place is really a hidden gem and it has it all, great food, ambience, and price. I plan to keep coming here aside from lunch to try other things they have to offer and I also want to see this place at night when it has belly dancing and is busier.
