The taco cebeza was very fatty, chewy and lacked flavor. The tortillas were standard La Banderita or similar, nothing spectacular. For the price $6.99 it was stuffed to fill two 4 inch tortillas, see photo. The horchata had a strange chemical taste, maybe it was just this batch or the cup, but it’s not worth trying again to find out. The store is great and offers unique items that can make any Mexican meal shine! The staff is so nice and friendly. It is worth a visit for some candy and a luchador mask.
Excellent food but do yourself a favor, order one taco at a time. There must be a half lb of meat on each. Super reasonable prices for the generous portions.
Stopped in for lunch after running errands nearby. Asked for 5 tacos de carnitas and was confused when they said it would be $33. Turns out the tacos are HUGE. I got two for $13, but the tacos were overflowing with goods and they gave me two extra tortillas too. A little cold when served, otherwise delicious.
Mexican store with Mexican restaurant in the back. You have to pay first and then order. semiautomatic Mexican food, but is one of the closest ones I've been in WA. I liked their tongue tacos and their horchata drink rice drink. We all also ordered menudo and it was ok Dishes are pretty big, ordered a sope and a quesadilla and they are huge. they have food prepared and serve pretty quick no parking, need to street park
I am from Mexico city and I can tell you the food here is the real Mexican experience, we tried the barbacoa tacos it was simply amazing.
It was disappointing! I would say that the servings are big, and the service was friendly. But the flavor was NOT, I ordered two tacos lenguaand cabeza and I couldn't finish them, there was no flavor in the meat, it was bland. The salsas was very spicy but no flavor. My friend had the carnitas quesadilla and she liked it so I'm guessing maybe it was just the kind of meat I order.
AMAZING tacos and lamb consommé, maybe one of the best in Seattle. Owner is super friendly and the shop and food are quite authentic not that I would know, but heyy.Food: 5/5
I’m Mexican and all I can say this place tastes like home. The prices are affordable and the quantity of food is really good. The dishes have a lot of flavor, and they have a lot of different kind of dishes, you can find tacos, quesadillas and even barbacoa on the weekend. The place is not fancy but somehow you feel the Mexican touch. You can also find Mexican groceries.
Good food with huge portions tucked away in the back of a Mexican grocery store. A gem!
One of those mornings when you need a substantial meal that makes you feel like eating at the local Mercado in Mexico!! the small place doesn't make the occasion better but the piñatas hanging from the ceiling and the smell of the food makes it all worth it ..i love it
