My parents and I have been coming here for years to eat because we love their tacos, and today we went around 11:00 something Sunday Sep 4, 2022 Minding you there weren’t many people inside yet. We sat at the back table so we wouldn’t get hit with the wind coming in when consumers would open the door, and this woman took our orders. About 5 mins my parents and I got our drinks. Then about 15 minutes later, more customers would enter. When my mom got her food, she waited for 5 minutes to see if my dad and I got our food to eat together. However, she didn't wait, and she ate it before it got cold. We waited another 5 minutes, and still didn't get our food, I complained that my dad and I haven’t received our food. Main reason why I complained because I noticed the tables in front and a table in the corner had already received their food, and those people arrived after us. The lady taking orders said how it works is she has to go in order of tables, not in order of who arrived first or not, and she claims she told us, which is false, I informed her. “So are you telling me that the people who arrived after us and sit to a closer table are receiving their food and we have to wait because we sat all the way in the back???? She then changed the entire story with her lies and then claimed that she had made a mistake with orders, but that we will receive our food in a few so after waiting more time and nothing my parents and I became frustrated as we waited longer and longer without receiving food since more and more people arrived after us. I preferred to ask for the receipt, pay for my mom's food and drinks, and leave, so people don’t sit in the back tables because you have to wait for everyone to get their food no matter if you got there first you have to wait for your after people

Was exited to try them since it says DF style tacos but was let down they use small tortillas for their tacos and charge the same as other places but instead you get a two bite taco, the one thing I was happy about was the tepache it’s really good !!!

What an amazing taco joint! I would definitely recommend trying out the tripa tacos beef intestines. They're very full of flavor and very crispy. I would also recommend the Tepache Mexican Kombucha. And finally Rocio offers one of the best service in the city! She explained really clearly the origins of these amazing tacos and the process of making them. I would come back again.

Great service, clean peaceful environment and really great tacos. The freshest lengua I’ve had in years. The steak was tender, pastor was super tasty. I was also able to find some road opener candles here for sale, if you know.. you know will keep coming back to support this amazing business

The food was fire, excellent quality items had three tasty and hot varieties of salsa. Love the al pastor. Although i recommend coming in sooner than you normally would because It does get busy so it takes a minuteFood: 5/5

Great place for tacos, seat yourself & be patient. I highly recommend the al pastor with pineapple & steak tacos. They’re small, with lots of flavor but that is the true Mexican style

This place is overrated, We had to wait for 45 minutes for a table for 4. They gave us a table for 6-8. Then asked us to move to a table for 4. We had to wait another 30-45 minutes for our tacos. Then the tacos are the size of a regular ship. The place, looks like a cheap fea market and the price is ridiculous high. No, No Neflix You are wrong by even recommending this place. It’s not worth it!

Hands down best tacos in Chicago, one time we visited twice in one day. It's honestly so tasty and flavorful. You can't help but order more than once! Always a favourite to visit when I'm in Chicago. 5/5 stars EDIT: 4yrs later and still tastes amazing, we ordered through Uber and it's so mouth-wateringly good.
