La Cabana

Instantly one of my favorite Mexican food places in NW Indiana second only to El Bracero in Michigan City. There is a other La Cabana in Valparaiso that looks prettier than this one, but the service here is a thousand times better. If you're in Portage and looking for good food with great service, go here!

This will be second visit here! The salsa is great the carne asada was good but the beans and rice missed an authentic feel to them. Service was excellent. Try their horchata its really good!

Very reasonable prices. If you get something you know is a more common item it is very good while the other random stuff is a long middle of the road. However the freshness is there! I would recommend.

This was the first time my wife and I visited this restaurant. Nice atmosphere and staff. For was fast and hot. Drinks were good and cold. Restaurant was well kept. We plan to visit again soon.

Good guacamole, salsa and chips. Carnitas were good,good portions. Carne asada was also good.

Unacceptably long wait time for Entrées. Lousy service. Food marginal at best, and does not make up for disappointing dinner. Spend your money and your time elsewhere
