The food here is unbelievably delicious, the bread is wonderful and the brunch is worth the price. I've had amazing soups and sandwiches here that have a beautiful blend of flavours, even the grilled cheese is amazing. Make sure if you order soup you ask for bread, they serve it a freshly baked slice drizzled with olive oil and it is heaven. We also tried the beignets, which were freshly made in a skillet, they were so yummy! I really wish I could give this place 5 stars but the service is abrupt and awkward. Servers are rude to my guests from out of town who do not speak French, and they provide no translated menu or assistance, which is embarrassing for me as they visited based on my recommendation. I'm not sure why they would be so anglo-unfriendly, especially when there are many tourists in this part of town. If they focus on improving customer service this place will be unreal.

I love this place and bring all my friends here! I live across the road and was so happy when a cafe opened in the neighbourhood. The food is delicious and staff and environment friendly! The reason I can't give stars is that they do not offer gluten free alternatives. Just one bread and a desert would be enough! I have suggested it was greeted with no interest with the response "it will never happen". I have celiacs disease and sit and look a my friends and family eat bread and dessert every time I go there. I can only eat salad or soup and the staff is kind and omit bread from my plate before serving to me but it would be nice if I could have a gluten free bread instead! I do understand the implications of offering gluten free bread! It can't be made on the premises and then the responsibility if someone gets sick from making a statement that you offer gluten free alternatives! I am sure they can find a way of doing it as many cafes do offer it!!! Considering I am not the only person with gluten sensitivity and celiacs out there it would kind of a trendy cafe to offer more than what they feel is enough and go there the distance for a good customers!

Fresh breads, good baguettes. The prepared sandwiches are tasty but a little light on flavour. Prices are a bit high as well. The coffee is very good.

On a recent visit (8/8/2017).. little or no interest to my inquiry about the use of nuts in their baked goods. I was with my hungry crew all of us ready for a big breakfast. We left. Not interested in giving my business to an establishment thàt doesn't post a sign for customers explaining their policy on potential food allergens nor make an effort to explain which products do or do not contain nuts. I expect that if a supermarket, a coffee shop, a breakfast cafe, etc. can post signs on their premises & menu's alerting the public about the use of nuts or other allergens, then so can bakeries. Staff should be oriented in their training to provide an informed reply to what has become a common inquiry. This is 2017.
