The place is really fancy. The pumpkin soup and the burger were really good. The rib so soft. But the tuna salad and the steak I try better. The service was nice. Is a bit pricey
Where to begin. Why do I give this restaurant 5 stars? Because it ticks every box for me; service, food and atmosphere. We went back in November 2021 and our server was Joshua, he made the BEST recommendations. They had a good wine and drink selections. They start you off with their house made jerky but we also got the beef carpaccio. It was Joshua's recommendation and it did not disappoint, it would break off as you picked it up, thats how tender it was. We got the cowboy for two, medium rare, with truffle fries and Mac and cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection and it came with carrots, potatoes and the sweetest beets. Afterwards we got this dessert, I can't remember the name, all I can say it was crunchy on the outside and smooth and silky on the inside. The atmosphere was very pleasant and warm. The lighting was perfect for a romantic dinner for two or a nice family outing. Highly recommend it and reservations are needed.
Great service! We got the cowboy plate for two. Didn’t love the steak, maybe it was a one off but was a bit disappointed. Nice atmosphere inside. Loved the wine option.

Business partners took us here for lunch this week. Food was amazing. I had fillet mignon that was super tender. One of the guys I was with tried the tomahawk steak. He said it was delicious. Service was great.
Went there alone with no reservation still a good idea to make a reservation if you are a group . Got lucky and got a nice place at the bar, the table d'hôte offered delicious meal from start to finish. The service was flawless. I was asked if I minded switching places at the bar to make place for a couple, and they kindly offered me a drink for switching place. Nice ambiance, great staff. Nice place to go if you are in the area.

La Bete restaurant in Quebec City is one if the finest steakhouse. The service is excellent. The menu selection of fine quality steaks along with the extras is the specialty. The atmosphere feels exclusive and intimate dining at the same time. The quality of the tables and booth seatings feel expensive. The bar serves the best cocktails and liquors.
The price definitely worths the food! It’s one of our greatest experience in Quebec City. We ordered two dishes but we got two same dishes. We were pretty surprised that the waiter told us we can keep it if we want and it’s not charged. And he was getting our another order. The service is absolutely wonderful. We would come back to try the streaks if we come to Quebec City again :
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. And really good wine. Not sure what else you can ask for. It's modern and classy at the same time. Food is delicious beyond comprehension.
