I ordered a coverall online, but it was a bit too large. I called the customer service line and they said this store had the only 1 in Quebec in stock in the size I was looking for. Amazing! I called the store to confirm that they have it physically. After running around for 20 minutes, they told me they didn't find it. I told them I found it hard to belie they have a 500$ garment laying around somewhere in the store and they didn't have the slightest clue where it was. They offered to check again, but instead hung up. I decided to go in person to double check since I really needed it for work. After a 50 minutes drive to the store, I found it near the entrance in less than 5 minutes, in the coverall section. Too bad nobody cared enough to check
I went here today with my kid to ask a question concerning a sport equipment that my kid needed .. we had 2 bags with us from previous shopping from other stores .. As we started heading out of the Equipeur store the alarm at the exit rang .. and the lady working at the door her name is Svitlana she told me and my kid to stop at the door because she wants to check our bags .. and i told her I am a mother with a kid how could she think we would steal .. and she rudely answered « So What » and without my permission she shoved her hands in my bags with her dirty gloves and then i got mad and i told her I’m gonna go get the manager since she was rude and arrogant And absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional towards me and my kid .. When the manager arrived regardless of what i explained to her she herself also insisted on checking my bags she was not understanding at all and she caused a « Show » at the door because there were numerous customers standing there and watching this situation that was complete nonsense and i felt humiliated and disrespected while I was with my kid and coming to this store ruined our shopping moment.. I dont recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be mistreated !
My old steel-toe shoes were falling apart and I was dreading going to L'Equipeur to replace them since it's always more complicated for me having tiny yet wide feet size 6.5 wide—now imagine my difficulty in finding a good and comfortable fit with such stiff shoes as steel-toe boots. When I last went, I found a shoe that looked like the widest one there and asked Brandon M. Who was working in the shoe department to bring me size 7. I quickly discovered that it was too tight. I couldn't imagine working for even an hour in those shoes let alone for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week... Then I asked Brandon M. for recommendations. He looked over the inventory and confidently recommended two other options. It looked kind of narrow, so I had some doubt, but decided to trust him and give it a try. The first pair felt too snug, but the second one was perfect. It fit comfortably and even looked sleak on my foot! I was super impressed with the customer experience Brandon M. provided. He showed himself knowledgeable, confident and capable with his recommendations. Superb job, young man! I've now worn those shoes for two days in a row at work with no issues! They are the most comfortable steel-toe shoes I have ever bought, thank you Brandon M.!
Not a lot of choice for real work clothes. Good selection of work boots and shoes. Staff is ok
No staff. Had to chase an employee for 15 mins to try on 2 pairs of shoes. Took him another 15 mins just to tell me they only have size 7. That's not even the average Canadian shoe size. 1 month before the start of winter you have no selection of sizes ?? Someone in inventory is clearly not doing their job.
