This was our first time visiting Riviere du Loup. We based on Google reviews and picked this restaurant. BTW, you should skip those 5 stars review with no photos. We made a reservation on Google map and we got our table immediately when we arrived. The restaurant was very busy on a Wednesday night. We ordered an onion soup, a shrimp pasta, a pizza and a burger. The soup was not bad. The pasta was good. The pizza was actually a flat bread. The side salad was surprisingly tasty. The burger was pretty good. Service was okay. Our server was super busy.
Great breakfast!nStopped for breakfast while passing through on route to Maritimes & really enjoyed our meal. Atmosphere is great & bustling at 8:30 am, service is friendly & fast and food is delicious. Ordered omelets & they came with bunch of fruits, amazing toast & hash potatoes. A great way to feel full before a long trip. There is plenty street parking outside at that hour. Prices are about $16-26 for full breakfast.nnTook off 1 star because my order got mixed up and although a lovely lady offered to replace it right away, we were on a quite tight schedule & couldn't wait for another to be prepared. The wrong omelet was still delicious :nnI can imagine it would be an amazing spot to have a lazy brunch and/or to watch a game.nnWould eat here again.
I absolutely recommend this place, the burger, salad, and steak were all amazing, great service, and great coffee!
We stopped here to eat on our way back from the maritimes. It was a pit stop before we checked into our hotel.nnWe initially ordered:nthe fish and chipsnSteak and friesnnOur waitress informed us that they didn’t have either as it was “sold out”nnWhat restaurant sells out their fish and steak ? I thought it was a laugh out loud moment.nnWe ended up ordering:nnLINGUINE CREVETnailes pouletnBAVETTES BOEUFnnThe bavettes was delicious. However I ordered medium and I received medium rare. The linguine was also very good. Creamy and nice sized shrimps.nnI took out a star from this place because they didn’t have what was on the menu.nnOther than this. It was a really good restaurant. Quick service. Nice ambience.
