Kunming Small Pot Rice Noodles

I really like the foods here. Make sure you book a table if you plan to dine in during dinner hours. The crab tastes fresh. I like their Yunnan style dishes, especial the roasted fish.

The crabs and the noodles are all fresh and delicious! The restaurant seems to be very popular and it got filled up very quickly on a Tuesday night. The owner and the manager are very attentive to customers’ comments; they are always seeking advice to make adjustments to the recipe, so it stays as authentic as it can be. Highly recommend!

Went to this place earlier for their crab. Other dishes were fine but the crab wasn’t served for over an hour. After asking the waiter multiple times he told us he forgot to send the order to the kitchen. Like the whole time he was sitting there chatting and eating lunch with another waitress. I don’t have a problem with the waiting staff taking a break whatsoever but can you please finish your job first? And the fact that they showed us the live crab and then straight up “forgot the order” makes me think if they really use live crabs for their dishes as they promised.

When we arrived at the restaurant during lunch hours, the front door was opened but there was exactly NO ONE in the restaurant, there was no customers, no server, the kitchen's lights were off, even the owner was not there. We tried to call the restaurant and it was a stupid idea cause we immediately heard the phone rings behind the cashier desk, but still there was no one there to pick up the phone. Everything was just so bizarre and we decided to leave after a 20mins waiting for nobody.

It's my go-to place now. I never to go to a place very frequently but this is a place I always wanna go when thinking where to eat with friends. People I bring are all satisfied with this place. I truly recommend this place, love their rice noodles and crabs and a lot more. Very decent price, and nice staff : This deserves a 5 star~

After placing our order, we tried telling the waitress a dietary restriction severe allergy and they intentionally ignored us and walked away. When confronted they said they did not speak English, which is fine, but they didn't try to find another waiter to translate. Additionally, the food was over priced, my beef braised soup came with less than a spoon full of beef.

Undercooked. I was eating raw potatoes instead of fries. Same for the shrimp dish that had potatoes in it. I just feel like my money was wasted. Do better. The flavours were good but I couldn't even eat them because of the aforementioned issue.

I wait for 20 mins to get my noodle soup. And my beef rice noodle only have 5 pcs of beef… even not a completely pc of meat…
