Fantastic dim sum restaurant the also have regular entrees. Very nice modern decor, the dining room is clean and tidy, delicious food, extremely reasonable prices. I accidentally stumbled upon this place while searching for a Chinese restaurant in the vicinity of Sheppard and Don Mills and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend without any doubt.
I didn't realize this place opened up right by where I used to live. It is a very large space, lots of dining available, a decent selection of all your dim sum favourites, and each were pretty tasty morsels of greatness. The highlight, not pictured is the salted egg yolk buns, those were perfectly gooey inside with a squishy exterior that wasn't all bun. It was very yummy. Each of the common dishes were well prepared, nothing outstanding, a solid choice we would come back to.
This is probably closer to 3.5 stars than 4. The food quality is good, but the menu is limited compared to other Chinese restaurants. For example, the dim sum menu doesn't have a ton of variety, and currently, there are no set menus for dinner. We wanted to book a special occasion dinner there because the restaurant is spacious, clean, and not too busy, as well as equipped with private rooms, but the lack of set menus means we have to order a la carte, which can get pricey. Nevertheless, a good option if you're in the area. Parking is free for 4 hours if you dine there get a coupon from them to validate parking.
My boyfriend had eaten here the day before for dimsum and he recommended we went here the following night for date night and the restaurant was beautiful inside and super clean. They followed all protocols and the food was delicious as you can see from my pictures. I will definitely come back to this place!
First time we eat here and it was a really good experience. The food is really delicious. The service was very good as well. It is very clean and accommodates families with children and wheelchair accessible. The staff were very professional and friendly. The dimsum tastes authentic. A must try if you are in the area.
We visited early Sunday afternoon, and the restaurant was pretty empty. We had the option to order from the regular menu or the dim sum menu, so we ordered a few dishes from each. Dan Dan noodles were good, and dim sum was very fresh and delicious. Service was a little slow and each dish was brought out one by one so we could only get pictures of each of the single dishes and not all of them together. They have free parking which was great because if you park in the parking garage, they will give you a ticket to use on your way out.
The food is delicious, the seating is comfortable and the restaurant layout is relatively spacious despite being a mid size establishment which is a big plus for me. Many Chinese restaurants try to push capacity to the limit to maximize on profit potential but this place takes into consideration the comfort of the patrons. The Cantonese dim sum menu is limited but the staples are there and done well. They have a larger variety of Northern Chinese cuisine. This place is best described as “North meets South” for Chinese food.
Was surprised to see a Sichuan store serving dim sum, but the servings looked good! Parking is convenient and get a voucher for 4 hours of free parking. Stir fry dishes are ordered from an ipad, and the table service is always good! Only complaint is that they cut the pork/lamb slices a little too thick, so there’s less flavour.
The dim sum was pretty good ! Was a little difficult to flag down a server though. Otherwise, good overall ! I’d recommend the squid tentacles for sure
So glad they were able to make vegetarian-friendly food for us. Everything was delicious. We especially loved the deep fried crispy tofu, mapo tofu and veggie fried noodles. Side note: Private rooms have a capacity of 12-13 people - might be a good idea for holiday dinners
