I am bursting with gratitude for Kristin Woolard! What a dream it was to work with her! Most definitely an expert in her field, she is also extremely patient and kind and ALWAYS available when needed. Our journey began 2.5 years ago when, as a self-employed individual most lenders didn’t want to touch me. I have to admit, with limited history as a business owner and less than optimum record keeping skills, my financial picture did somewhat resemble a lump of coal at that time. Against all odds, Kristin managed to secure a lender for me! When the deal collapsed (for matters not related to financing), I felt terrible knowing that she had done so much work, yet was not paid for her time at all. Kristin insisted that I not feel bad, but rather, follow her suggestions so that when the time was right, I could achieve a better rate and not require a co-signer. Fast forward to today… I just signed the papers for the mortgage on my first home – a property FAR MORE valuable (as in more than $100K!) than what I was originally going to purchase - WITHOUT a co-signer and with a FANTASTIC mortgage rate! Kristin not only worked tirelessly with me to turn my financial picture from a lump of coal into a shiny diamond but was also there every step of the way through all of the unexpected hurdles that came up regardless of the day or time. When I shared my rate with my realtor, his jaw dropped and he said “Wow – that’s incredible – you must have an amazing mortgage broker!” I COULD NOT AGREE MORE! Thank you Kristin!

Kristin provided amazing service and is definitely a leader in her field. She got me a great rate and was able to make the process of buying a home as smooth as possible. She is extremely knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to utilize her services in the coming years!

The service and knowledge we received from Kristin was first class. We already have pre-approvals from a couple banks, but we were unhappy with their service as they often took upwards of a week or two to get anything done, so we decided to try a broker. I gave Kristin a call right before the weekend and she had us set up for an in-person meeting the first morning after the weekend to familiarize herself with our case (down payment, what/where we were looking, etc). She did some back-of-the-envelope math to give us a ballpark estimate right away. 24 hours later we had our official pre-approval amount (which was also higher than what our bank offered us) and 48 hours after that we had offers from four different lenders. As first-time homebuyers, Kristin guided us through the experience seamlessly, answering any questions we had along the way promptly and effectively. I cannot recommend her enough. If you're unsure about choosing a mortgage broker, give Kristin a call.

One of the best customer service experiences I have had in any industry for a long time. Kristin was right there when we needed her to be and was instrumental in helping us to win a heavily contested bidding process for our property. Should you you pondering your decision to go with Kristin and DLC - look no further - you have found the right broker to help you get your mortgage - oh - and she got me the lowest rate out there - so she saved us some money as well.
