YYC FOOD trucks have Great staff! I love the fact that u have amazing menu"s to suit all our companies needs and your staff was very efficient, kind and punctual. Thank U and look forward to having u service us again very soon.
Tried "Family Cheesed" at the Calgary Expo, decided to try their "Lobster Grilled Cheese" thinking that the price of $19 would mean it contained actual real lobster. Boy was I wrong, Imitation Lobster, you could tell by the texture and taste it was just the cheap Pollock "Imitation lobster" you can get at the grocery store. Great way at ripping people off. If it's not REAL lobster, don't advertise it as such. "Imitation Lobster Grilled Cheese" would have been more appropriate, and even then, it shouldn't have been $6 more than your other grilled cheese options when it's fake. Great bait and switch.
This company ruined the food truck industry in calgary. Changed it from fast-casual, unique, quality food to carnival-esqe garbage. Turkey Dinner Poutine Flavoured Cotton Candy Ice Cream, with a sparkler served on a hotdog bun for $18!! Sad to see.
We booked the Food Coma truck for our Halloween party this year and it was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and we would recommend this truck to anyone looking to book. Thanks so much!
We ran a large event at The Jumping Pound Antique and Art Market and were promised 4 trucks each day of the 2 day event. One good truck showed Sat and only lemonade on Sunday. Things happen, we understand, but food was expected and none showed, communication was none existent on Sunday. We are unfortunately very disappointed and will not book through FoodtrucksYYC again. Just a confirmation that no food was coming would have been a great consideration especially for the 50 plus vendors and helpers that could not leave the venue to head into Cochrane. Really poor customer service.
Paid $14 for a poutine and it literally had 8 or 9 cheese curds on it. If you don’t have enough cheese curds left to make proper poutines than close up shop
Excellent food and service today at our company's event! The food was outstanding! Two thumbs up :
Pop $3 and not cold. Mandatory tip. Fries cold and not fresh. No or very little cheese on the lobster grilled cheese. For the family cheese food truck. I’d say I’m cheesed that I got very little value for my hard earned money.
I always have a great experience with YYCFoodTrucks! The staff is friendly and fun, their costumer service is exceptional, and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend going to their events or using them for planning your own :
Wow.....Like just wow. That lobster sandwich is no joke and they skimp out on lobster and lobster prices change constantly. That was a sandwich to remember. And my buddy's poutine when he wasn't looking was really good 2.
