I’m terms of service 5 STARS!!!! The staff were AMAZING! We came in a big group didn’t book and they did a very great job catering to everyone, they were very efficient and exhibited great kindness much appreciated. I truly enjoyed my experience there as did everyone in the group that I came in with. We were very glad to choose Olive Garden to celebrate our dear friend’s birthday. The food was very good as well
I have dine in after very long time there and was very happy with the food quality and taste. They have implemented nice menu. Their hand crafted strawberry something….drink was very good. Their team was nice except the manager that day. That’s the reason I took out one star as We as in my whole group was very disappointed with his behaviour. Now imagine all 14 of us were mad at him for not accommodating us. We understand every place has rules and regulations but you need to at least listen to the customers instead of just bragging in a rude way. We almost made our mind to leave the place and go to red lobster but then our boss was like lets just avoid him and have fun. I am glad that your food turned out great.
This is by far one of the best meals I've had since arriving in Canada. The menu is good value for money. For the price of your main course or entre, you get free flow soup or salad, bread and some selected drinks, tried both the chicken & gnocchi as well as the minestrone soups. Both were equally delicious. All portions are very generous, and at a very reasonable price. I would definitely go back there again the next time I visit calgary.
Super busy. We got here at 4PM on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was filled up full in 30 minutes. Service was fast. The host was super friendly and accommodating. Signature salad was over powered with vinegar, bread sticks were a bit hard. Main dish was Chicken and Shrimps Carbonara. Really flavorful, the shrimps were perfectly seasoned. They may have used some sort of deep fried chicken strips. I would recommend to grilled chicken or even just with shrimps, as the deep fried breading got soggy with the bacon grease.
Arguably the best Italian restaurant in Calgary. I have been to this place like 6 times and it has never disappointed me with either food or service. I love their garlic sticks which they serve as a filler. The food is always fresh and delicious with authentic Italian flavours and cheese. Highly recommended it.
After living in Calgary all these years, I never thought to try out Olive Garden until a friend suggested eating here. I didn't expect much, but I cam away very satisfied. First of all, the restaurant was packed. All the staff members were running on high nonstop. Our server was always on the run, yet she took time to greet us and made sure we were taken care of. She was always happy and it made our meals better. Hands down my win for the night was the Zuppa Tuscana soup. It was bottomless and I had 2 bowls. I would have had another if I didn't try another soup in between. Mind you, the Pasta E Fagioli soup was delicious too, but the Zuppa Tuscana made my night. Next time we are here and I know we are coming back, I'm going for the unlimited soup and salad. I don't care for the salad so it's unlimited soup for me at Olive Garden from now on! I also ordered the Chicken Parmigiana which was decent. The chicken was very crispy and the speghetti was expected. The sauce was not exceptional, but the chicken is clearly the star. My wife ordered the Shrimp Scampi which she said was light and refreshing. She enjoyed it. Our friend, who is the reason we were here, was the clear expert as she got the Soup and Salad combo. It's her favorite and now mine!
Amazing food,!! Service was fantastic. Brandy was amazing. It's been so long since I've been to an Olive Garden, living in Ontario, we are limited to OG's in the US or other provinces of Canada. One would think that we would have OG's inToronto and GTA area.
Olive Garden was a hit. I lived in Calgary for three years; then, I moved to Vancouver. For the new year, We came to visit our friends, and they invited us to eat this fantastic Italian food. Our family was amazed, great-tasting, generous portions, great attention, excellent quality. My kids couldn’t stop eating the breadsticks, the chicken parmigiana . I ordered the Asiago Tortellini Alfredo with Grilled Chicken with an additional of Shrimps, and let me tell you, I will repeat it my next time.
Loved their bread sticks and never ending dips. We ordered a vegetarian soup and salads on side with cheese ravioli and Fettuccine Alfredo. Loved the fettuccine and the salad with Cesar dressing. And the staff is also very polite and help full
Honestly Olive Garden isn’t the same anymore. The food is what you expect for the price not amazing. But when I came in everything was over cooked from the noodles and chicken. I received a clump of uncooked pasta in my dish. The service is pretty bad as well I’ve came in twice in the past month to give them the benefit of doubt. But every time I come in my table is forgotten about table of 2. But when I came in tonight my server was giving amazing service to the table beside us but we were forgotten about. We asked for refills of breadsticks before our main course came and she didn’t bring any we had to ask twice and received them when we were almost completely done our meal. And we were also sitting for a solid 15mins waiting for her to come back so we can get a pop refill. Honestly save your time and literally go to any other pasta restaurant so they won’t forget about you.
