CZECH PASTRIES AND MORE!! We Bake with family recipes Keeping the Czech Heritage alive. We are a small bakery with a big heart. Happy Eating to all!
Family Tradition of baking Rohlicky, Buchta, and Cream Horns passed down for years. We are keeping the Czech heritage alive. My parents, Frank and Gerry Winkler are the beginning of this operation. We would be no where without their teachings, guidance, support and love. It's always been a tradition of going to the Winkler's and knowing you were not going to leave there hungry! When you walk in the door you're immediately asked "you hungry" ? Even if your answer was no, "Sit down, let me fix you something" is what you heard.
Several family members, have helped with painting and decorating. My sons Levi and Logan Winans and my brother David helped greatly cleaning, painting, and basically renovating the old bakery, It was a mess when we took over! Lots of long hours were put into the place. My family had a hand in this businesses success. All of my siblings bake. Levi and Logan are a huge emotional support for me, telling me to keep going it will be good! They help with getting supplies, the heavy lifting, and even ocassionally selling at Farmers Markets. Support from family really is important. Come to the Markets or come to the bakery, and enjoy!
Thanks for your support, Mary Beth
