One of the Best restaurants for Thai food. The flavours were very original. We ordered Tum Yum Soup/ Thai Basil Chicken Rice/ Mango Salad/ Moo Tod/ Pad Thai/ Mix seafood platter and etc. The spices were very authentic. The Ambience and service were very good. The place was Clean and Bright. The Decor was typical very Thai. I would surely come back and try some other items at this restaurant. Very satisfying dinner . Happy Eating
Tried their Tom Yum Soup and Khao Pad - they weren’t bad. Had the Mango Sticky Rice as well, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. Very glad that they accept credit, debit, and cash. They also offer adequate vegetarian options. Service was good, but the food wasn’t anything too special. Perhaps I was expecting more as they advertise themselves as a Michelin star restaurant. May try some other dish next time.
Food was flavorful. The Tom Yum soup could have been spicier. The rest of the dishes were very good and good to share. The green curry was yum and the mackerel dish was really good. The Smoothie was very refreshing. We got there at 5:30 and it was already very busy on a Saturday. Constant flow of people coming in. Reservation is highly recommended.
One of the nicest place to dine with friends and family. Nice ambience with vibrant colours and decor representing the Thai culture and the place “Kho Lipe” Definitely worth a visit. A Little on expensive side but the food is good if you know what you are looking forspecially for spicy food lovers . For serving size it is very generous and you can share soup which is nice if you want to try. Everything we ordered was good and was served on time. Staffs are friendly too and you get to see robot taking away the dishes.
Good food and fantastic portion sizes especially since Michelin star restaurants aren't known for big food sizes. Cant say i was blown away with their food though definitely very flavourful and tasty just nothing that entirely took me by surprise or stood out. Haven't been to the dt location to compare but I had heard they have lunch specials during the week there. This one didn't have it or the wait staff didn't remember to offer it. They seemed very new so had to be asked to get bowls to eat off of instead of plates not instantly given which I thought was unusual for an Asian restaurant. Very eager to help though! Beautiful decor
This Thai restaurant is one of the most authentic place. The customer service was amazing and the food was delicious. We can also appreciate the atmosphere with nice decorations as well. We highly recommend anyone who enjoys Thai food and excellent customer service.
Modern thai restaurant. Valuable price, but it gets pretty busy. Service took a bit longer as it was busy and only 2 waitresses serving for one side. The menu is kind of confusing when photos on the menu are not accurate. The chicken wings were probably our favourite, but food was pretty good!Food: 5/5
First time at Koh Lipe after its grand opening at Scarborough. The atmosphere is just like any other Thai places, but I must say the seat we were seated seemed like they pulled it out just to accommodate more people. We already made a reservation in advance for two people but our seat was in the middle so wasn’t the best seat. The food is actually really good and I would say the portion size is generous as well. But the food take 45-50 mins to come which is why I’m giving them a 3 star rate. We made a reservation for Friday night at 7:45 and we were seated immediately. We already checked the menu in advance so we knew what we wanted to order and we placed our order by 7:50. We kept waiting and waiting and asked our waiter to check up on our food but she said one moment and never came back so we asked another person so check it and she said she’s gonna go and check. By the time we got our food it was around 8:38-9:45 and we already lost our appetite so we had to pack most of the food home. We only stayed until 9 and the bill came up to $114 for which included two iced Thai milk teas as well. Definitely on the pricier side of Thai food but the food is good, not sure if it’s worth 45-50 minutes wait time though.
A big Thai restaurant located inside the mall. The staffs are very nice and the environment is very clean. I tried Veggies Tofu Pad Thai. Too sweet for me and the vegetables just like raw. Will I go back? Well, not in the near future.
The most authentic, most varied and flavourful Thai food in Canada, by a mile. Each and every single dish comes in good portion, well crafted, well balanced and delicious. Please always be this way and don’t let quality down and prices up like Pai or Sukhothai. This location just opened for a week so the bar is not open and overall short staffed, but our server still did his best to keep everyone happy
