Kobe Teppanyaki

Kobe is our favorite place to eat out. Real class and super fresh fish, flown in daily. Great show and great food.... I have to amend my previous 5 star rating to a 2 star. I have eaten here for the past 7 years having traveled all over the USA and Canada this was in my top 5 places to eat. Not any longer. They have changed cooks... Reduced quality of the fish etc that they purchase and still charge premium price. Thefood is what you can get anywhere now...nothing special here. Sorry tonight is the last time we will visit here.

We eat here a couple times a year. Last night Joe was our Chef. Joe was awesome! My wife and I have eaten at a lot of these types of establishments in and out of the country and Joe rank right up there with some Five Star restaurants. Great find for Ogden UT! I will say this, it seems like the meat portions have slowly reduced in size over the years, but it is still a pretty reasonable place to eat.

So My wife and I have been coming here for some time now. We were very disappointed tonight. They sent out a birthday card with a steak and lobster special for $19.99, free if you had three guests with you buying dinner equal or greater value. I had four others in my party paying equal or more than the price of the special. The waitress was long of rude and said I could either get the special or the free dinner. I'm not sure why I couldn't get the special as the free dinner. I said it doesn't matter just give me the special and I'll pay for it. Made me feel uncomfortable and it was not a very good birthday experience. Made no sense, they can just keep their birthday specials. Take me off your mailing list.

Kobe is always a great place to take groups or for a date. It's fun to watch the grill masters cook the food with style. The kids love the fire and the tricks during preparation. It's not cheap but you will leave a big fan of Kobe!

I ordered a Rock Star roll as a side and it was spectacular. Then had hibachi steak at the grill. Good salad, soup was excellent. Steak was not so good. Flavor, texture, and seasoning all off. Next time I'll stick to seafood, from the one roll the sushi bar is my next visit.
