Kobe Seafood And Steak House

This is a really nice place to eat. The food is almost always great, and it's fun to watch the chefs on the grill. Depending on the time you go there the food can either be a little pricey, or fairly decent. Lunch time tends to have better rates. The service here is great.

Service was good however upon finding a hair in my meal and jumping through hoops to have the meal removed from the bill was quite an inconvenience. In addition, the manager walked away and made a muttered a comment to the waitress as they both laughed (I can only imagine what was said). I felt the need to state this for I read a similar complaint in another review.

I detest sushi, but my brother/family loves it. The fact I can still go here and get a solid local beer alongside excellent fried rice is a testament to how well they craft their dishes. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is their steak, it was below my standard by a mile - especially considering local butchers. Not going to dock it points because you come here for legitimate Asian cuisine, and it excels at that.

The experience was amazing and the sushi was great. Really great sushi bar with a large selection of rolls.

I've tried their Tepanyaki a couple times and loved it, but the real treat is their sushi. I've been to all but Ahari for sushi in Missoula. Kobe definitely has the best sushi. One of the most competitive sushis for me is Unagi. It is done very well most places, but they do it best at Kobe. Also, many of their sushis will use that eel sauce that Unagi is served with to add a fantastic flavor.
