Aaron and Jeff are great. Had a bike I bought from another dealer that was still under warranty. Jeff took a look at it and replaced the part in one trip. Was honest and explained everything to a non-bike person. Will be going to CK when I need another bike for the family. Thanks, guys!

I have been working on bikes since 1978 and the last 9 years have restored hundreds of them. Ran into a jam with a tool I'd have to order from another country in order to finish an old Raleigh and they hooked me up in less than 2 minutes in the store, saving me a ton of $$ and time in the process. I hadn't been in the store since somewhere around 1981 and it's as if time stood still. Thanks again guys !

The guys at CK know what they are doing - great customer service and support and you can ask them any questions about bikes, they'll know the answer. Friendly too! They've helped this bike newbie more than a few times.

Hand cycle needed a new cable for its parking brake, and staff used a shifting cable instead due to the cycle's workings, far more effective and useful original brake cable was frayed. Price was great and turnaround was quite good.

These folks work hard to provide customer service. They really succeed with helping me on incrematic upgrades to my fat bike. It's 10 times funner to let Jeff & crew research parts their availability and install em so I can worry about riding. Decide what you want on Monday, ride on Tuesday.

Couldnt be more satisfied. Aaron and Jeff were beyond accomidating. They answered all my questions and gave the best quality service. I came in not knowing much but they were insightful and found a bike that fits my needs. I highly recommend this place.

I have had Jeff and the crew do a lot of work for me, ranging for simple repairs to complete builds. They are always professional, honest and willing to go the extra mile to help. There is a closer bike store to my home in Schenectady but CK Cycles is worth the drive. Other bike shops have told me they were too busy or couldn’t find the parts I needed, CK Cycles is just the opposite. I will not give anyone else my business! Thank you to everyone who works there.

Updated 2 months after original review: I have come back several times with minor bike needs and have been blown away by the honest, straight forward, above and beyond service I have received. It’s refreshing to work with a local company that truly cares about its customers and doing the best possible work. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Great service, very reasonable prices, and trustworthy.

This is an amazing local bike shop. From high school through college I worked at a shop in Massachusetts, and was pumped to find a great shop when I moved to the Albany area. I've purchased four or five bikes from CK - two Salsa's, a hybrid for my father in law, and Cannondales for the kids - all have been superb. When the first hybrid was a bit too big for my father in law, they went out of their way to help find a similar bike with a lower stand-over - now it's perfect. From the service perspective, I've been blown away. My first experience was when the brakes on my fat bike seized. I assumed I would just buy some new ones and have CK install them - NOPE! Jeff made a warranty claim and they were free! Jeff converted another bike from a three-ring to a 1x, and was able to do so with many parts I already had. Overall a great spot - highly recommended.

Staff was super speedy and very helpful. I brought my old Schwinn in for a tune up and new tires and it was done earlier than expected. Connor helped me fit it into my car and it ultimately cost less than I expected. When I dropped off, the guy who received my bike had just had to deal with an extremely rude customer and handled it very professionally, better than I would have. I will definitely be coming back.
