I went to Albany Bike n Hike, thinking of past experiences in Portland, as a last resort due to my memory of the store up north being very pricey. I just needed a tube for my wife's bike and didn't want to spend $15 for a tube for a lightly ridden bike. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices of everything in the store. There are plenty of high ticket items, as there should be in a nice bike shop. Most everything in the shop was of very decent quality and at chain store prices. You've made a new customer.

Got a good bike here and Peter tuned it up so that it is perfect. Did not know there was so much fine tuning for a bicycle. I could really tell the difference after Peter worked on my bike. And he even explained to me what he was doing. I enjoyed learning about bicycles.

I have been there a couple times now, I use my bike as my major mode of transportation and they have always got me back on the road the same day. I plan to make my near purchase there. I find the selection of bikes and accessorys to be diverse and intelligent. I've visited many of the Corvallis shops and am delighted to have Bike and Hike in our Downtown neighborhood❗️

Poor customer service from jj(older man) I believe his name was. Waited 10minutes to ask kindly if he could put a chain on for me and he said no and I told him I would by one there and he smirked and said in an hour.
