Kittitas County Trading Company started out 25 years ago as a small Pawnshop with a small selection of used firearms. Over the years we have grown to become the largest Gunstore in the Kittitas Valley. We have expanded our new handgun selection into two new cases. In other areas of the store we have revamped our inventory to offer the latest in firearm and hunting accessories. We still have a good selection of tools, coins, and precious metals. We also now deal in laptops. If you need a few bucks for the weekend and don't want to add high interest debt to a credit card, come see us for a collateral loan for up to three months.

Started off needing a post hole digger last year, no one else in town had one but I was able to find one here last minute! Started using Kittitas County Trading Co as my preferred FFL for firearm transfers. Some of the nicest, most knowledgeable and good to be around guys you can do business with.
I, have been a customer for a few years now, first on the pawn side of the store looking for and often finding great deals on guitars, amps, computers, sporting goods, etc. I eventually graduated to the firearms side of the store when my daughter moved to Ellensburg who is a longtime firearm enthusiast. You can usually find a great deal on new and used firearms and supplies. The staff is friendly, helpful and very knowable. If you have a need for Firearms or supplies don't forget guitars,amps, jewelry, etc and you're in the Kittitas area pay these guys a visit you won't regret it!
I've done business with the trading Co for three years now and have always had a pleasant experience. They are really a home town shop and about relationships. Rich helped me breakdown my M1 fresh from CMP. He gave me a walkthrough of the rifle and some history. Best customer service I've had from a gun store, especially anything on the westside.
Not only is the staff knowledgeable and helpful but they have made every experience I have had there a wonderful one. If you are new to owning guns this is a great place to start. If you are a seasoned gun owner and looking for something that may or may not be on the shelf locally, this is the place to go. If it is available but they don’t have it on the shelf they will hook you up.
I love this place! I’m so happy with the things that I’ve purchased here over the years. What’s especially nice about this store is the people who work there. Sometimes it can be intimidating and embarrassing to shop for items that are unfamiliar. The sales people are never condescending or impatient with my questions. They are just nice and helpful. The store itself is spacious and clean and full of interesting things. Highly recommend!
So it might be that I look like a coastie western wa person, though living on the coast is wildly expensive but they sold me some ammo marked up. Purchased 250 9mm shells for 174$ which isn’t terrible at this point in time. The problem that I had bought as just behind the price tag was a sticker for 135$. They gave me the old gouge. Nice guys and all but man I must not have any street cred left.
I pretty understand what those bad reviews say. But you gotta understand something before you entering any pawn shop. Those guys just do their business! I drive from Spokane to here for visiting a friend. Randomly stopped near this shop, and looked around. These staffs are very kind and knowledgeable. Their price is good, i bought a pack ammo and some parts. Very happy, definitely come again next time come here or pass by, lol.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place all the workers are amazing and very helpful. I’ve purchased all my guns and ammo from them and I will never go anywhere else for anything. They will help you get into the right weapon for you and won’t push anything you don’t want on you. I strongly suggest to go here for any gun purchases.
This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced dealing with firearms. These people are lazy , rude, an incompetent. Not only do they have a terrible selection of firearms, but everything behind the counter or in the cabinets are overpriced. For example, every gun shop I've called does transfers for $25. Their transfers cost $40. The ammunition prices are outrageous as well. I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. Drive to Yakima or order online over shopping here.
Best Pawn shop I've ever dealt with! As a previous gun store owner I can tell you these guys have the best prices around! Best tool prices also! I buy all my tools and guns here and you should too!
