Brett Knipmeyer: Owner/Executive Chef
After graduating from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon, Chef Brett Knipmeyer returned to Chicago for a stint at the world renowned Charlie Trotter’s.
After moving to Alaska to be the head chef at Jen's Restaurant Brett has now staked his own culinary claim, and named it after his daughter, Kinley.

Was completely surprised at.the perfection that was my dinner. From the parking lot, it didn't expect much. However, how wrong I was. Best seafood and chicken I have had. Can't wait to go back.

Place is inviting and comfortable...has a semi-formal vibe. Service is top notch. The food is superb. Flavors abound in carefully crafted and creative salads, tapas, and entrees. Some of my favorites include: the duck preparations, the halibut risotto small plate, the calamari, and the roast beet salad!

Great service, fabulous interiors, delicious food and fare prices. Their vegetarian falafel burger is fabulous! Definitely coming back for dinner and a wine flight :)

An excellent experience. We were first timers at Kinley's tonight for our anniversary. Service start to finish was spot on; attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable providing perfect suggestions for food and beverage pairings. The food: Fantastic. A great atmosphere for conversation. The check left us feeling pleased with the entire experience. Definitely recommend!

My oldest son and his wife were married here today and had the reception here as well. The food was good ESPECIALLY the filet mignon and the chicken & eggplant. The staff was extremely OUTSTANDING and made sure that EVERYTHING went smoothly and that each course of the meal transitioned smoothly. EVERY person was catered to as if they were a party of one instead of a part of a party of 40. I highly recommend Kinley's to anyone having a function and want that personal touch
