Kinkura Sushi + Sake

We recently visited this new Japanese restaurant with friends. The place is clean and nicely decorated. We ordered sushi, sashimi, tempura, curry beef, teriyaki chicken, etc. All the food is delicious and authentic, especially the seafood which is very fresh. We are very satisfied with the food, price and the service. It is a real gem in downtown Vancouver. We will definitely come back again.

Food was delicious! They have an interesting menu and drink options. The place is delightful and clean. They don’t have a public washroom yet, maybe because they only have 2 weeks opened. I waited about 40 minutes to get my sushi but it totally worth it. People here were kind. Prices are reasonable and the location is very convenient.

This is an awesome restaurant, the food is fresh and delicious, I love the draft beer with Sashimi and Kinkura rolls, shot beef ribs is very testy as well, the staffs are friendly and cute. Very clean place. My friends and I had a wonderful time last night. Will definitely come again! Thank you Kinkura!

What a fantastic restaurant! We dropped in after spotting it on the street. The service from start to finish was friendly and you could tell they were putting in a lot of effort to make the experience a good one. All the food we ordered was well cooked, nicely presented, and delicious!

I loved this place! They had a good range of sushi and appetizers, all of which were delicious. I enjoyed the Spiderman roll, and the rolls that my friends ordered were also really tasty. The waiters were attentive and the food came out quickly too. I would definitely return next time that I'm in Vancouver.Food: 5/5

Pretty decent price for the quality. For $27, you can get a 10 piece chef's choice sushi and try different types of fish/seafood. I also shared a roll I think it's the Sakura roll, and by the end i was very satisfyingly full!

Absolutely fantastic. Incredibly tasty and fresh. The rice is exceptionally prepared with care. The fish is fresh. I am blown away by how delicious this place is. Highly recommend. also a great place for celebrity sightings, fyi

I used to come here all the time when it was Jako Sushi. Early June my friends and I wanted to try this new place and we were not dissapointed. I ordered Tofu Teriyaki Combo it comes with tempura, rice, salad and miso soup. I came here again yesterday with my son and they no longer have tofu teriyaki combo so I asked if they have a non meat teriyaki combo and they said they could make it for me which I really appreciate. But when the food came, it was definitely smaller portion than a month ago because it no longer came with the tempura. So I was a bit dissapointed. And I wanted to order a 180ml cold sake but they ran out of the sake I wanted so they said I could order just a small cup of sake. But I decided to order a beer because it was such a hot day. The service is good, the staff is friendly, accommodating and the place is clean.

Just some simple rolls for takeout. The Salmon and Tuni maki were good but I really enjoyed the California roll. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in Vancouver. Order was ready quickly. Would go back for sure and I’ll definitely try more on the menu.
