Wonderful people and really detailed work. This review is long overdue, but the people at Kingsland deserve a great review. I brought in a winter jacket last Aug to have dry-cleaned. What I didn't realize about the coat was how obnoxious it was to clean because it is made from various materials. The owner started cleaning the coat, noticed some color bleed and informed me right away. In order to do a good job, she had to dismantle parts of the jacket, to clean individual parts separately and then put it back together. She did a wonderful job! One would not have noticed that the coat had been dismantled. It's clean, looks great and I couldn't be happier with the work! Would highly recommend them!Service: Laundry pick-up

Took my daughters dress shoe in to be repaired and it was done incorrectly. Her heel had come partially off. They put the heel on at an angle and it does not sit flat on the ground now. They charged $30.00 for this repair which is a total rip off When my daughter told them that the man at the front counter argued with her. So unprofessional. Now my daughter has no dress shoes to wear for a wedding g as she came from out of town. Will NEVER use this company again. $30 dollars!! I’ve had new soles put on my favourite thigh-high boots, several work and dress shoes repaired, new heels put on several biker boot pairs. Wouldn’t even think about going anywhere else! The lovely lady that does alterations and clothing repairs put a new lining, zipper, pockets in my husband’s favourite leather jacket. The cloth used is a heavy satin and feels so luxurious! She has wonderful taste and crazy talent. 10 Stars for this little shop. You won’t regret using their setvices!

They did not do a proper job on my wife's sandals. I went to pick up what was supposed to be ready 3 days earlier. I showed the lady the poor job done. I will take it to another place to get it done right. Clasps to be redone plus heel shaved to make it lower.

Get a quote first. A zipper replacement on a piece of luggage cost $63 and took over 3 weeks. Wasn't contacted when it was ready for pickup.

Would NEVER recommend. Customer service is extremely poor. The owners are very rude and they were unprofessional in the way they handle business. When they presented the total, I was shocked about the prices and when i asked, the woman chose to get mad and she even called her husband and they just laughed at my face! These owners lack even the most basic good manners. Don’t waste your money here.

This place is fantastic! I brought my husband's nomex coveralls in a couple of years ago because the zipper was busted. He needed it for the field the following day. They came through and fixed it right away! A few days ago I brought in my winter boots because the fabric was starting to tear away from the rubber. They fixed it in a few days for what I deemed a very reasonable price! They are incredibly friendly and easy to work with. It's safe to say that we will always be coming here for any necessary shoe repairs and alterations.

I have gone to Abeer and Johnny for over 15 years, I used to live in the neighbourhood about 10years ago, but now will drive across the city if I need work done. I will not go anywhere else for any alterations or leather repair/shoe repairs. Their work is always over and above what I expect or vision. They are kind, honest, fair and friendly people. They work hard to ensure the best quality services to their customers. Salt of the earth people.

I have used there guys for alterations several times. The owner is friendly and wants all her clients to leave happy. The one time there was an issue with an alteration, she fixed it right away. They have done shirts, pants and suits for me. HINT: they also offer shoe repair. They do excellent work and they have all the shoe accessories you could ever need.
