King Tandoori

We have been dying to try King Tandoori ever since a friend told me about the Drew Rd plaza location. You can see I get my pizza and wings from Slice Of The 6ix there. In any event we went to the Vaughan location on Hwy 27 instead. Ordering over the phone was easy and told them I would be there in an hour. Food was ready when I arrived. Attached you will see the printed order list and the corresponding pics of all items. Lately, in the past couple of years, ordering Indian Punjabi food has been hit and miss. A lot more misses and very very few hits. Came home with the food and when we opened the containers and took a quick sample of each item we were plenty surprised with the taste of the thari gravy. Not bad at all... good flavour and right amount of heat... The issues: Chicken Tikka Masala tasted too much like Butter Chicken. The Chili Paneer had no heat and full of starch. The Tandoori Chicken was tastey but well under cooked. All the other dishes were pretty good, not great, but pretty good. As for quantity they could have added a little more meat to each dish.... overall I would have given them a 4.5/5 but with the deficiencies I listed above I gave King Tandoori Vaugahn location a 4 out of 5.

I recently visited Agra Tandoori and overall had a pleasant experience. The waitress was perfect, attentive and provided great service. However, the smell of oil in the restaurant was a bit overwhelming and seemed to indicate that the food may not be as fresh as it could be.

Found this place after doing some shopping at Costco. We’ve been here three Friday’s in a row! Just to try all the chicken tandoor dishes. Food is great! Fresh and hot served sizzling on an cast iron plate. We will be back again to try the biryani next although I don’t know if we can resist ordering another tandoori dish.

Worst experience ever I want to give 0 star, but I can't do 0 star.. Served raw dough of garlic naan, look at the picture, not even cooked well barely cooked or just they put oil onto it. We ordered Kadai Paneer, and it comes with 4 small cubes of Paneer and rest all onion curry. Well, on their menu, it says Kadai Paneer made with green paper and paneer tometo curry, but it isn't. When I told them, Naan isn't cooked well they see me surprised and offered a new one which is okay, but again no apologies from owner. After 20 mins later, when I paid, they apologized, but it felt like they just said it didn't mean it.

So, we ordered take out to celebrate a birthday. This was a chance we took to order from this place as this was our first time. I really liked the food, it was very flavourful and my sister is more adventurous and orders things we had never heard of. Everything was a nice surprise and definitely added to our ideas of when next we celebrate a birthday . Check them out. It was a nice and very pleasant surprise. What I really liked is too many restaurants over salt their food, but with this place that was not the case. A nice added surprise. Sakina Vegetarian options: We ordered four vegetarian type dishes and really enjoyed those.

The food was so amazing at this place. We have daal makhni and Kadai paneer. Both were literally 10/10. Gulab jamun ice cream is worth tasting. They have a good customer service and lady over there greet always with a smile. Would love to come again and again for the food. The only thing is they need to work on is cleanliness .

Best restaurant for all the vegetarian and non-vegetarian stuff. Love the place, staff and service. Must visit for mouthwatering sizzlers they’re known for. You will get a lot of options with great portions at reasonable prices. Both Indian and Chinese cuisines filled with beautiful flavours and best presentation..... Love King Tandoori!! Recommended for everyone who loves Indian or Chinese food.

Had the chicken lollipop. Don't know what sauce they used but it was slightly spicy. first time trying this. Came out to over $20 on the Uber app would be cheaper if you dont use the Uber app. 7 pieces of seasoned chicken on a layer of green peppers and cabbage. Chicken lollipop is basically taking the part of the chicken wing between the elbow and the shoulder, cut the tendons and pull the meat to the other side. They then marinade and cook it. It comes out looking like a lollipop, hence the name. Lastly, their menu in the Uber app has a Chinese section and a vegetarian section. However no pictures are shown.

We ordered take away from this place. The food tasted perfect and their service was on time. They were busy but prepared food on time. I would highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5
