King's Arm Pub

Ate here twice and wasn't very impressed. Learned about this restaurant from a magazine and was interested in checking it out. First thoughts of the restaurant were good. Cosy looking place and lots of places to sit. The menu has lots of options and is kid friendly. I ordered the beef dip and my wife ordered the club sandwich. The beef dip was quite dry and was mostly bread. The dip was good and the fries were very good as well. The club sandwich was fresh, but was mostly bread and wasn't the best club my wife has ever had. The place was also very pricey for what we were receiving and wasn't worth what we were paying. Overall an okay place but would not be my top pick for a place to eat out at.

Food was ok. Chicken Alfredo had shallots or onions in it, so be aware. Fish and chip were recommended and was probably one of the best dishes we had. Angus burger was ordered and looked like a hockey puck it was so black; was also dry so we sent it back. Server took the order off of the bill bc we didn't want it replaced, but didn't make any effort to apologize for the obviously overcooked burger. As customers we are also in food service, so this was a glaring opportunity for better service. Overall, I would try it again, but a lot of the reason for that is because there aren't a lot of options in the area. Hopefully better next time!

Pub with an English flair. Great service and plentiful selection of tasty dishes. Parking on the street.
