James is an excellent physiotherapist! He is very friendly, attentive and proactive. More importantly, he has a lot of knowledge and experience and comes with solutions and techniques for every issue. I've had several knee injuries due to contact sports and have been to several physios, but James is on the top of the list. Highly recommend him for all your physio/rehabilitation needs.
Hugo is the best physiotherapist in town! Highly competent, he takes time with his patients to properly diagnose and treat injuries. Staff is helpful and welcoming. I would recommend to friends and family without hesitation.
So very happy to have been referred to Hugo. For the first time in three years and after trying many different therapies I am now finding relief from a lower lumbar stenosis. Hugo has helped me so much and explained so many of my habits that were making the pain worse. From the bottom of my heart thank you and by the way I love the music. Great space lovely staff
Nice physio office close to the metro. The people at reception were friendly and efficient. My physiotherapist James Rouzier worked miracles on my back. His combination of in-clinic care, patient education, and prescribed at-home exercises cured my sciatic nerve pain. Plus he is a super cool guy. I would recommend him to anyone.
I suffered from lower back and sciatica pain since I transitioned in to a more static job. I went to see James Rouzier for physiotherapy from a colleague’s recommendation. James is professional, kind, and very knowledgeable, he works with you with empathy and really helped me overcome this setback in my life. I followed through with his exercises and recommendations and after about 4 months of treatments I am about 96% pain free and I am very satisfied with my results. The clinic itself is located near a metro, walking distance from downtown in the heart of Old Montreal. The staff are friendly and accommodating with your schedule, so never felt pressure if I needed to change last minute. Lastly, the clinic is a clean space and bathrooms are clean as well. Thank you James and staff for having me it was a great pleasure.
Huge Rioux was referred by a neighbor of mine. The whole place is spotless. The staff - the receptionists- are unbelievably friendly, warm, welcoming- one feels at home. Hugo is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, efficient, the results are THERE. I had no clue what a physiotherapist was for, and i run 5-10k on average per day, 6 days a week. He showed me how to get rid of 15 year old tensions in my neck !!. My SI joint has been giving me a hard time but Hugo made it 50% better with each session, even pinpointing what had been causing flare ups in less than 5 minutes- wow. I am eternally grateful for this team, for Hugo, I'm getting impressive results & stellar service. Respect! Highly recommend. I'm ditching my osteopath of 60 years of experience in the East end because Hugo has been so efficient in making sure my injuries don't reoccur/easing my muscular tensions especially my neck and showing me how to do it myself at home. Just awesome.
Hugo is the best in the business. He was able to treat my leg pain. He diagnosed it and treated it in 5 sessions. Thanks to him, I am able now to train for my marathon!
I started going to see Hugo Rioux 6-7 months ago for physiotherapy for tennis elbow. I haven't been able to do any type of workouts for the last 5-6 years Tennis, Ice Hockey, weight training without chronic pain. Hugo fixed my tennis elbow with 3-4 sessions of treatments and gave me fantastic exercices as well. I continued to see Hugo for chronic pain in my patella Patella Femoral Syndrome. That injury has been literally bothering me for 15 years. He fixed that completely as well in 3-4 sessions with specific exercises and also instructed me how to do certain exercises such as squats and lunges. I have been weight training and playing tons of tennis the last couple of months, and it's the first time in years that I have been pain free. I had pretty much accepted that I would always have pain while doing any of my exercises and sports, but now for the first time in years, I am pain free! I have never felt better, and am able to push myself like I did when I was 18 years old. Hugo, thank you so much for your amazing treatment and advice. I strongly recommend Hugo and the entire Kinatex clinic. They are extremely professional and most importantly, they are experts in their field and will address whatever issue you have immediately and get to the root of the problem.

So grateful for the professionalism, expertise and understanding of my therapist, as well as for the professional service by other staff. After a few consistent treatments, the progress in my well-being is tangible. Thank you James! I have and will recommend this clinic to everyone.
After spending over a year with severe back pain, four sessions with a very qualified physiotherapist, Hugo Rioux, sent me on my way to recovery. I highly recommend for anyone with chronic pain, to consult with a professional physiotherapist. All of the staff at Kinatex are extremely pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing help with getting 'back on their feet'!
