Absolutely filthy. Walls so mouldy in bathroom they have grown fur. Woodlice crawling between seats in cafe. Staff all children. No managerial presence whatsoever. Don't know about the capacity but seemed far too full inside the soft play to be legal. God help us if there had been a fire. This place is a hazard. Never again.
We were a little hesitant about coming after reading some of the negative reviews but we had a great time. Kids loved it and the staff were all really helpful and friendly. Soft play area is great and having two separate rooms avoids big kids playing on the small equipment. Slides were the highlight. Children's menu was reasonably priced and food was piping hot. We will be coming back next year when we are back in Snowdonia.
Our daughter loved all of the soft play areas, especially the biggest one. She could have happily stayed there all day if they were open later. Needs a bit of a clean outside of the play areas but in fairness, the play areas were good.
Wouldn't bother, expensive when Adults have to pay aswell. Staff didn't show any interest in being there, in fact the cafe was hardly manned so getting drinks and snacks wasn't easy. When it was staffed the lady didn't really have enthusiasm. In its defense, plenty of parking to pay for, play gym is good, slides are fun and it's perfect for ages 7+.
Adults love this place more than the kids, be sure to visit upstairs to the museum and go karts
Good as always, could use some investment / upgrades now but the kids always love to visit when we're here on holiday and it's always good.
I've been to this place since I was little up until about three years ago for a youth club outing. I must admit, every time I went it has always been a blast. For the kids the play area is just something different, it's not dangerous but the gives an impressive illusion of it which excites most kids. especially those ungodly steep slides. I'm not exaggerating, this place has the steepest slides I've ever seen. There are slides that are not as nerve rackingly steep but there are two really steep slides that are actually quite fun & feel daring to go on even though I'm still scared of going down them to this day. For older people I'd recommend looking around at the building. The architecture is beautiful & for an old church with what is essentially a jungle gym stuffed in it there's a surprising number of hidden gems. The gate separating the play area from the sitting area is lovely wrought iron fence; There's a pedestal that originally was there when it was a church. It's really great for photos I found & a nice shield on the arch above the seating section. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but worth a look if anything.
really good find on a cold day, kept the kids entertained for hours. food was reasonably priced with healthy options, lots of variety. all staff pleasant, accommodating and hard working, especially the boys in the cafe. x
So it was a bit fun but after the play center my daughter and her friends had rash and bites on them
SHOCKING over-priced entry!!!!!!! £7.50 per child/£2 adult entry is a disgrace when you can get in "Gypsy Wood" for a similar charge and FAR more activities to see and do in there and eat your own food!! Not to mention the car parkby side of the church is an extra cost ..The cafe is EXTREMELY highly priced for BASIC food, tea & coffee again OVER-PRICED and there is a stern notice up to say you can't bring in your own food so if you want to eat or drinkvthen YOU HAVE TO BUY THEIR CAFE FOOD/DRINK!!?? -doesnt help parents in the current cost of living climate does it?..the whole "church" is dusty and in places very un-hygenic,tables are not cleaned regulary, ive seen parents remove other peoples rubbish from tables, the cafe itself is grubby and looks in need of a make-over and uncared for! This place is a dust-fest..NO-WAY is this worth the entrance fee..would NOT recommend based on price or experience, far far better places to visit,in my opnion.. AVOID !!!! This would have 0 stars if possible without a doubt.
