Came as a family of four three adults and 1child to dine in. There were plenty of places to sit for those who wish to dine in and there are infant chairs available. While waiting, there is complimentary yakhni to try. Unfortunately I didn’t see this until I was leaving or else I would have tried it! Ordered the chicken seek kabobs, 1/2 kg peshawari chicken karahi, naan, and French fries. Did not have to wait too long before food came out. It was very delicious, the karahi was the star of the show! Excellent service as well. Would definitely be back when in the area.
Dinning at Pakistani restaurants is generally expensive in Alberta and options are limited. Ordered Chicken Mali Boti 18$ . Chicken Seekh Kabab16$ and Chicken Mandi Half 20$. The portion sizes doesn't go well with the price set as noted by other people who had been here. Except for Chicken Mandi which was very well cooked, rest of the meals were on par with competitors if not better.
I didn't have high expectations while visiting this place but folks here are doing really well. Dine in customers also receive complementary chicken yakhni. They have quite a few tables and are able to accommodate a small group, the ambience is more of a takeaway restaurant. I ordered Chicken Karahi and kebabs, the chicken karahi was awesome and so were the kebabs, the wait time wasn't long and the server treated us well. The only thing i can criticise on is the kebabs, it would have raised the bar for me for other Pakistani restaurants, the kebabs were not quite tender, this might be a personal preference but it would have made a difference. Ratings: Chicken Karahi - 8.5/10 Kebab platter - 7/10 Customer service - 8 5/10 Dietary restrictions: Halal
Excellent food & Authentic taste. Good portion. Budget friendly. Great customer service.Food: 5/5
How this restaurant has a 4.6 rating is beyond me. I tried Kabli pilau here recommended by the server and the kebab trio. It was the worst Kabli pilau I’ve had in Canada. The meat was hard to chew and the carrots undercooked. The cook lacks basic knowledge of Pashtun/Afghan cuisine. The chicken boti kebabs had more bones than meat. Their free soup was hard to swallow. The only thing that I liked here was the sign in their mens washroom :
We ordered delivery and it was our first experience with the food here. Delicious. My only complaint would be the small bones in the chicken tikka.
Had a worst experience ordered karahai and kababs. Chicken was not cooked properly. Kabobs were burned and cooked in old oil. Also naans we’re not cooked as well
Very delicious food and good customer service as well. Keep up the good work. My compliments to the Chef.
The meat was raw, when I said to reception about the meat, she just ignored and attended a phone call. Very bad service, never recommend to eat at this place. The meat was raw, no doubt about it. Unfortunately, I cannot come to your restaurant, I live in Norway.
We were hear recently with family of 7. Place was clean and accommodating for families. We ordered plates ranging from $13.99 - $19.99 and found the portions to be small. The food itself was good 9/10. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. I didn’t understand the half Naan concept and stuffing everything on one paper plate, Presentation could be better. Also, please do not deny serving tap water. I know you will make few $$$ more if patrons buy drinks but this is unethical and Frankly against the teachings of Islam. Don’t deny people the basics of drinking water, there is no policy that justifies this. Finally, the lady at front desk was helpful and accommodating so that made experience a bit better with some of the negatives. Please look at feedback and use it as motivation to improve for your own future success. Response: 1 Your responses are very confrontational 2 Not serving tap water because people will leave half empty and waste is a very lame excuse. Depriving someone of tap water is very unethical, you should consult someone of knowledge. Why even serve food then if you are worried about wasting? Wasting food is not your problem, it’s the customers. 3 No I was not comparing to Toronto prices, I was comparing to other prices in Edmonton and Calgary. You can see from your other reviews, for the size of portions you serve, prices are high. I’m not the only one who observed this, see your other reviews. 4 I only wish Businesses success so the constructive criticism is to help you, not for you attack your customers. 5 I would still comeback and visit if I’m in Edmonton, as service was great. You should give lady at counter a raise if she is an employee.
