This was the worst KFC I have ever been to. The place looks horrible and even worst the chicken was horrible. They gave me four small pieces of chicken the two drum sticks were the biggest pieces in my 4 piece meal. I will never go there again. I write this review to let you know it's the worst place to eat in Brockville. I am usually pretty positive about restaurants but this one was horrible. The service was terrible too. The restaurant looks like no one cares. But by far the worst thing about the place was the chicken. Oh I almost forgot I was the only one in the restaurant and it took them nearly 15 minutes to serve me my chicken. The pieces were so small I believe they must have come from a baby chicken. I find the restaurants across the street seem to be so much better. I have tried the Burger King beside KFC and it's almost as bad there too. See my reviews on Burger King in this area. But in fairness they had an amazing tasting poutine. It didn't look good but it did taste amazing.
I put in my order got to the window to pay for my order & the debit machine didn't work and was told to try again and still the same , the person serving me rudely asked if she could try and I agreed and was asked to come pay inside and I agreed as I was looking forward to some good KFC to only get home and I could tell the chicken was old, it was very hard and dark in color and also faint in taste.. needless to say I was very disappointed and couldn't eat the chicken so I discarded it...all the years that I enjoyed the chicken KFC was known for this was a total disappointment to say the least.
I actually liked it here, for a change they gave me ketchup and hot sauce while other places make me beg for it and tend to always "forget" to add it or add one or two sachets for a large order after asking very nicely for lots of extra ketchup. That to me is huge for fast food places and I love my ketchup but most have become extremely stingy it really ruins the experience. The plant based chicken sandwich was on the money, do yourself a favour and try it if you haven't. It's usually made to order and tastes every bit as good as the real deal with the spices coming through nicely and the added benefit of being extra fresh. 25 years ago KFC was good. 10 years ago it was not good. Now it is awful. I ate at this location recently and there's a reason why there's nobody in the drive through line. The chicken tasted seriously off. The breading was bland. It was really sloppy with grease and chicken fat. That was the last time. KFC you need a new CEO and they need to actually eat the chicken to make decisions.
They cook all the chicken for the day and put it into a warming oven, where it sits and dries into hard dehydrated chicken like jerky. I asked for freshly made, and the girl looked me in the eyes and repeated "freshly made" back to me. Turned and took it from the huge warming oven. Will never return. Happened too many times...
Other than having to wait nearly a half hour as their delivery guys go first, it was good EXCEPT the coleslaw! I forgot it's not like the original green Sanders! This white bland stuff is horrible.Food: 4/5
Came in at 6pm and the dining room was closed…why?? This is peak dinner time hours on a weekday, I’m not sure how KFC corporate or the franchisee would be ok with this. If this continues I can’t imagine this location would last much longer. Added one star only because I was allowed to refund my order, but honestly, with zero heads up given before placing the order, this is common courtesy.
Food was good. Order was mixed up. Ordered two meals at the drive thru received one drink and when I asked about the second meal they only charged for one. Quickly resolve the order. The drinks were diet not regular. Service was ok
Today March 27, 2023, 4 pm, no soap in the men's washroom, Crush soda with watery taste, extra salty tenders which I ordered today, overall stay away from this place.Food: 1/5
The chicken had no skin. A bit of seasoning…but no skin! Isn’t the seasoned crispy skin the hallmark of KFC?! Fries were soggy. I had to put everything into the air fryer at home to be able to eat it. Gravy a snack coleslaw were good but my soft drink was warm and flat. Very disappointed.
