Mark as the manager of the store was EXCELLENT. I would return for any of my photo services because of him. I had passport photos taken and he was pleasant, professional and efficient. Nice man with a hearty laugh and so personable. The store is clean with ample of free parking at the mall. Pricing of passport photos were about $17 - reasonable with a guaranteed re-done if any issues with a regulatory body. Recommend!
I was very satisfied with our first photo ID back in 2019. so I returned to the store last weekend, the photographer had a flashlight issue when he was taking my photo, and he changed the battery and retook it at least 5 times, my final photo still looked darker than my husband's. overall, Photo ID services are more affordable than most pharmacy stores.
I have been a long-time customer of Kerrisdale Cameras in both the Main store and Burnaby locations. Krista at the Main Store is the best, full stop. Mark and his team in Burnaby are exceptional and I have always felt they value me as a customer no matter the size of the purchase. I refer to them as the "Mighty Burnaby Kerrisdale Cameras" they may be a small location but they are mighty in customer service. Shiraz is my go-to, he is always on top of things and is knowledgeable and helpful. I think it is safe to say Kerrisdale Cameras has the best customer service on the Lower Mainland. Give them a try, both used and new.
I was helped by Mark the manager and Tanyo the sales associate and am pleased to annouce how friendly, helpful and kind they were! They answered all my questions with ease and helped me set up the camera I purchased. For any and all beginner photographers there isn't a store I could reccomend more for the following reasons. 1. The staff were very knowledgeable about the cameras in stock and which ones would be best for your level. 2. The kits included Body, lenses, battery + charger and lens caps. 3. The workers offered to take an hour to teach and go over the camera and how to use/edit the photos. They also offered to answer/help with any future photography shoots with their experience. 4. The student discount is amazing! They offer quite a few items at a lower price for new and young photographers. My one complaint is that I wish they offered a list of recommend purchases. I already have an SD card reader at home, but a new photographer may not know/have something so vital.
We got a passport photo here and the service was above and beyond any other photo/camera store that I've ever been to. I've been thinking about getting into photography and from this one experience alone, I'm likely going to go back there for advice and equipment.
Their staff is really accomodating and responsive even on email inquiries. We ordered something which is out of stock and we need to pay 25% ofnthe item's price. Order will arrive within 10-15 business days and they will just contact us once the item arrives. They are very helpful and nice.
Amazing knowledgeable staff, went in for a passport and left with a charger and battery pack for my D90 Camera. This store gives Amazon a run for its money. Passport photo was done correctly and perfect.
Bought aTamaron 18-400mm online and pick up at this location. The lens arrived at the store in time as promised and the staff was super nice and professional. Would love to deal with these guys in future when an opportunity shows up.
I only needed passport-sized photos this time, but if you're looking for photography gear, this is also the place for you. The people are very friendly too.
