A few months ago, I switched from my previous vet to Kennedy Heights Animal Hospital and it was the best decision I ever made for my dog - I only wish I'd done it sooner! They cared for my dog Bentley an 11-year old Boston Terrier towards the end of his life and helped me through the difficult decisions that came as his cancer worsened. The doctors and staff at Kennedy Heights are caring, knowledgable, and professional individuals who are deeply passionate about their jobs and the pets they care for. They are true animal lovers! I highly recommend them. They even sent me a sympathy card after Bentley passed away, with hand-written notes signed by each of the staff. Bentley's veterinarian, Dr. Taylor was amazing, he genuinely cared for Bentley. I will definitely be seeing them again in the future if I ever end-up getting another pet I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else!. Thank you guys for everything, I truly appreciate how wonderful and caring you all were and the wonderful care you gave to Bentley in his last months. Elisha
I cannot say enough good things about this hospital! The care an compassion they had for my pet was so very appreciated They do not over charge either. They understand how much your pet means to you and you can tell they really care. Special shout out to Jenny who was so kind to me during my pets stay with them and even gave me a hug! Although I hope I don’t have to return soon - I know I’ll be met with care and kindness if I do.
I came here back in 2020 with my first pet, but due to circumstances I had left to another vet. I went to a couple different vets before coming back for my hedgehog who needed to be seen right away, and Kennedy Heights had and still has the most exotic vet availability and could see her the soonest. From her diagnosis to her passing and cremation, they were there with me every step of the way. Even with all the other places I've been and various vets I've met, Kennedy Heights has ALWAYS been the place I wanted to go and I am so glad to be back!! Everyone here from the vets to the admin are welcoming, knowledgeable, and understanding - they genuinely care for the well-being of your pet. They're accessible via phone, email, AND TEXT. They offer the BEST exotic care and I've been to a few!. Finally, you just feel like family here, not a wallet to drain. If you're in the area and even if you're not!, Kennedy Heights is the place to go for your animal companions.
I brought my baby bunnies here since I got them. My female bunny had gotten a bump on her nose and I had brought her in for a check up. They did a normal physical which they called comprehensive and put her under as they needed to remove some of the bump and send it into a lab for testing. Which was fine as I figured she was okay to do so as Vet gave the okay. 5 days later she gave birth to 3 baby bunnies and I was in complete shock. How could a Vet not be able to hear the 3 other heart beats in her tummy. Also mind you that I had also mentioned to the Vet that she was becoming aggressive, the Vet said her spaying would be coming soon and maybe change the attitude. Instead of asking me what other behaviors she has been showing the last few weeks. As one of the behaviors of a pregnant bunny is aggression. I found another Vet that does many bunnies, for way cheaper then they charge and have offered way more to my bunnies and getting them there chips to be tracked just in case I was ever to lose them. Also being able to spay and nature them for fraction of a cost. I had asked for my my money back for putting my bunny under which is VERY dangerous and not doing a comprehensive check just a physical as the Vet said I was only checking the bunny heart. They said no as it was done properly. Well if it was done properly I would know my bunny was pregnant and wouldn't have been surprised with blood and a frantic bunny trying to nest. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!
The staff are really kind and supportive. I lost two of my pets in the last two months and I will never forget the kindness the vet techs showed me. Thank you so much, it means a lot. The vets themselves are knowledgeable and care about your animals. Dr. Upjohn is my vet, but Dr. Tailor has helped my pets previously as well. Both are great vets who provide excellent care. I have pet rats. They cater to exotic pets and dogs/cats as well. Thank you again!
Staff and vets were very knowledgeable, responsive and compassionate. They practice a high standard of care. Their prices are reasonable, and they are very forthcoming about all they do and the cost. They were very kind to my rabbit. I was grateful to know that she was in good hands. They have excellent knowledge of rabbit medicine, which is why I went there. Their passion for all pets was evident throughout my experience with them.
The staff are always kind and helpful. The doctors always follow-up and take the time to explain everything in detail. As my dog is getting old, her care is really important and being able to communicate with the vet is so crucial. We did not have this with our previous vet which is why we moved to Kennedy. We are so happy with them!
Our regular vet wasn’t available for an urgent visit for our rabbit. Kennedy Heights was available and immediately booked us in the same morning. They took good care of our pet who is typically quite anxious outside the house. Cost estimates were accurate and clearly communicated early on. Overall great experience, it’s clear they really care about the animals.
Such a great experience at this vet. I was coming from out of town and they were very understanding and accommodating. Staff were so friendly and caring of my bunny. Highly recommend and just wish they were closer! Thank you!
Dr. Taylor’s expertise in caring for Alpine, our leopard gecko, is commendable. He is thorough, efficient, and has great bedside manner. Kate, an assistant, is equally as wonderful. Huge gratitude for unblocking our impacted gecko and assessing a calcium deficiency.
