At Kennebec Eye Care, we have our own fabricating lens equipment, which means glasses for you and your family, faster! We can make glasses in as little as an hour and can create lenses for any frames, even the ones we don't carry in store. We have over 1200 frames in store and have access to thousands more that we can order for you. Come in today and start seeing clearly!

We are now offering the following:
• On-site lab for lenses (1 hour service available by appointment)

I have a very rare syndrome that effects every part of my life. Dr. Paradise & I had spoken several times about my medical condition & told me to just take care of myself because I had felt horrible about missing an appointment. I have been going there for several years. I was put in the wrong contacts my last yearly visit. Instead of seeing me they had me come in to purchase my contacts & to give them time. Well my yearly examine is due next month & I was told I had "no showed" because I've called in 24 hours before my appointment due to my syndrome. The person that I spoke with was rude & condensing - not a good quality in any medical practice. If your office staff is awful, it doesn't matter how good the Drs are. She did keep telling me that Dr. Paradise is in agreement with not having me as a patient - he's the one who told me that I was fine if I was having an issue with my syndrome! Someone is lying - never the less, I have paid them so much through the years & they will not get mine or my husband's business. In these times, there is a lot of competition in the medical field. I work for a local hospital & I would be fired if I treated a patient the way I was treated. I guess I need to be checking to see if being disabled is cause for being mistreated.

I had an amazing experience here! The staff was incredibly friendly. The exam was very quick, and they were so careful not to do any procedures (like eye dilation) that could affect my milk since I am nursing. They were easy to talk to about my concerns and the contacts I ordered came within two days. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I know in need of an eye exam. :) Thank you!

I have been with Kennebec Eye Care for over 30 years (before it was KEC). I have had wonderful care and service....always above and beyond. I have always felt cared for and respected at every turn. I would never consider making a change. I believe that all health care providers are an integral part of overall health and wellness, be it your primary care doc, dentist or optometrist! They all go hand in hand and you must feel very confident or go elsewhere. I have never felt the need to go elsewhere in 30+ years! Thanks for jobs well done!

I went to Kennebec eyecare for a pair of glasses and an eye exam. Glasses were ordered on 5/29/09 and I did not get the glasses until 4 weeks later after being told it would be 2 weeks. The lab that was making the glasses got the Rx on 6/5/09 but the frames did not arrive from Kennebec Eyecare until June 17th...5 days after I called to check on them, the date they were supposed to be ready. I only know this because I called the lab myself after not getting any answers or communication from KE. The most disturbing part was that no one would tell me what was going on. I will certainly go elsewhere in the future, along with the rest of my family. The cost to me was $175.00 for this aggravation, none of which they volunteered to write off. I requested a call from the office manager twice during this process which of course, I never received.
