Now, today, civil rights violations occurring. Kennebec Behavioral Health, as a whole, is in violation of the civil rights of all patients, clients...per policies. They Are under investigation as we speak.
This place is horrible... They don't care about anything you have too say, whatsoever! Yes, they are "medical professionals" but I like too refer too them well some of them as textbook junkies. Especially when it comes too having anxiety disorder or panic attacks... They've never had one so they don't know what it's like. They try too take you off the only medicine that has ever helped you. They try an say just by talking to you for less then an hour after multiple doctors have diagnosed you that you have a completely different problem.... All in all I would never go here if you want help! They just don't believe in helping you. Too many people have ruined it for others.
I have gone here for a few years now and they have helped me a lot. Yes the waiting list is huge and I ended up waiting almost 6 months to get in it was worth the wait. they have been nothing but nice and polite to me at the waterville office. I have not been looked down on or discriminated against for having a mental disability. I can tell you this about all the negative reviews above is do not listen to them if you need the help and want to go there do it. yes you may have to wait to get in but thats understandable. These negative reviews above are people who obviously did not get their way and are looking to ruin a business.
This place plays games, I have had one of my family members on their waiting list for over a year. If you are a new patient don't even bother wasting your time with this place. Find somewhere else to go if you wait for this place you won't get in and won't get the services you need, all you will get is a call once a month to basically ask u if u want to be removed from their waiting list not to actually set up an appointment and then you receive a very unprofessional letter that is printed crooked and you can't even read everything but basically says since you have been on waiting list for more than 60 days your being removed from their waiting list with no appointment. I don't know why they even run radio adds because they don't accept new patients.
My Nurse transferred to the AUGUSTA Office. I am SO GLAD I FOLLOWED HER!! That office is the difference between Stark white and Pitch Black to the "old run-down" feel of this clinic. The Clinic in Augusta has more front desk staff that are empathetic and really STRIVE to make things work in scheduling and so forth. I never have to say anything when I walk in. I walk toward the front desk area, the lady looks up and Says hi"....." then asks my the standard address, Ins info and such ... all done. I am a HUMAN WITH A NAME there, not only a "#". I never have to wait forever in Augusta either. When I need a question answered or if I'm having urgent issue, they are right there. They've ALWAYS have CALLED me BACK within the hour if it is urgent. If I need to go in within a few days, they've always seem to find a slot me me impromto. The latest call back, when not urgent has never been more than one day. My nurse has either called me back or called me on her own also. I did NOT get these responses in Waterville, ever. I even went there to p-u a script because I couldn't get to Augusta. I walked in and told them who and what etc. It took 4 people to find the meds. One hand didn't know what the other was doing there. I NEVER GOT ANY OF THAT in the 5 yrs I went to the Waterville Clinic.The counselor I had in Waterville, sat behind a huge desk and Literally looked at the wall over my head the whole time. She was bound and determined I had anger issues from day one and never left the subject or did any other evals... Needless to say, I gave up on her in less than 6 months!! Never ever seen a counselor that talks to the wall. Maybe there was a mirror up there and she was counseling herself... she def needed help!! Yup Love Augusta compared to Waterville!!
Waste of two years of life. Do yourself a favor and look for help somewhere else. I was treated like a criminal and a animal. Upward Realty, Tim & Lorie, BRAP Scam, works for KBH. Was taken for 1000$ damages without proof. Left apartment cleaner than I moved in.
I've been there 5 yrs and went from addicted to living a so much better life I'm seeing clear again I feel like a productive citizen again I can say today I love my life I left a 20 yr poisoness marriage..thank you kennebec behavioral health..

Have been getting services here for many years and will continue to for as long as their service is available. Staff is friendly and caring.
The Med Techs are alot nicer & more respectful at the Augusta office 66 Stone St..
