Ken's Bicycle Warehouse

I used to buy all my bikes from Ken’s until new ownership. I paid for a tune up and to have my tires sealed last year. The tires were never sealed to my shock when I had my bike worked on by another shop. Ken’s charged me for the service last year, and must have forgotten to complete the task. This is when it was still under old ownership. But difference was with Ken he would fix the issue. I talk to Mike and he stated they have no record of the old system. I explained to Mike we buy a new bike every year and would like to know what he would do. He stated we will give you 15% off new tires when you need them. I wasn’t asking for a lot, just to be taken care of. You buy a business for the repeat and referral customers so you do not have to start new. The new management doesn’t care about old customers or helping them out. Mike would much rather have a long winded conversation with himself about how they care, but have the actions say otherwise.

Ken and his crew are by far the best in the Treasure Valley. They come highly recommended by professional riders and they also treat me with kindness and respect (even though I am not what you would consider an expert in bicycles). From my experience, not only do they have a good selection and non pushy sales team, but they are quick and knowledgeable with repairs and questions. I previously purchased a bicycle from Ken's Bicycle in 2011. It was since stolen and I am seeking a replacement. On 10/19/2015 I went in to see what my options are for a replacement and even though I am going to have to wait on a purchase (mainly because my interests are always greater than my budget), Ken was understanding and wonderful to deal with.

Ken's has a decent selection of bikes and accessories but the customer service has been mostly lackluster. Wyatt, on the other hand, was very helpful and informative.

I had an awesome consumer experience at Ken's Bicycle. I am a beginner in the competitive road bike realm and all employees including Ken himself were extremely patient, engaging and informative with all of my questions. I stopped by to browse/test ride/inquire about many different models of Specialized bikes 3 times before making a purchase, and every time I walked through the door they were all happy to help me make the right choice, even though the bike I purchased was around their lower price-points for competitive road bikes. Furthermore, they offer unlimited tuning for a full year upon purchase and offered to instruct me in flat-repair and maintenance. All together Ken's team probably committed around 3-4 hours of sales assistance for my first purchase with them. Great store.

There is not a better place to get a bike. I've been getting bikes here since I was on training wheels, 30+ years. Ken is great and remembers who you are which makes the buying experience that much better.
