Kemptville Family Restaurant

first time at this restaurant for lunch... expensive for a diner... food was high in salt, lots of thick gravy (beef gravy on a turkey dinner!) and the shepperd's pie was essentially all potato... could only eat half our meals... server was polite but did not ask about our experience when she took away our plates / half eaten meals. would not recommend. will not return.

Normally food is quite good, and portions are large. Recently had the hot turkey sandwich and it came smothered in brown gravy! I didn't know if I was eating turkey or roast beef? Unfortunate experience.

Today my girlfriends and I chose this "family" restaurant thinking that mothers and children are welcome, but our experience was the complete opposite. We were served by the waitress with the faded red hair, and her level of service was absolutely awful. Almost laughable. By the end of it, we just wanted to get out of there! As we were trying to pay at the front cash, she pushed my 4yr old son out of her way, without excusing herself or apologising. I was so shocked that I was speechless. Because of today experience, we will never return to this restaurant. This waitress's terrible attitude ruined everyone's day.

Great place to eat. Good food served hot. Waitress was great very friendly. The owner was even there to make sure everything was right. Really impressed me and ill be back for sure.

Very disappointed. We had been there before on our trip to the area,usually found it good. This time we were served frozen foods that we could have bought at Giant tigers .Terrible.
