Dr. Valerie Leroyer is so rude for no reason. She raised her voice at the patients, and she have no patience. And the wait time is so long, we waited for 4 and a half hours because the nurse forgot about us and didn’t put us in the wait room. Then we had to stay after the clinic is close because the doctor Dr Valerie takes such a long time. I understand that doctors need time to be able to identify the problem properly but 30min and not done? It’s not even cancer. Never want to go back here again, and train your doctor to be more patient and don’t raise their voice at the patients.
Almost all doctors and nurses here are phenomenal and helpful. They've helped me multiple times while I was trying to get a family doctor. The wait is long, but that's expected - the good doctors here actually spend time with you to figure out your situation instead of rush you out the door. I appreciate them so much!! This location also has a few books that you can take for free to help pass the wait time, which I think is wonderful.nnThere's only one doctor whom I've had horrible experiences with - I think her name is Valerie. She's the only reason why I only gave a 3 star rating. Otherwise this location gets a 4 or 5 star rating. She accused me of lying about my health records when in fact I was telling the truth, showing proof in the BC health app. After fighting tooth and nail with Valerie to get her to look at my profile, she realizes I'm not lying but won't admit it and begrudgingly prints out my lab work.nnAnother visit, I got Valerie again and she did not want to help me and is not updated with current medical knowledge, which is concerning. She was condescending, and this time my partner came along with me and witnessed how awful Valerie is. BC has a severe doctor shortage, but having Valerie waste patients' time is not conducive to the healthcare system either. At the very least, her medical credentials need to be reevaluated. No one likes dealing with a condescending doctor but at least that can be ignored. Having your legitimate health concerns dismissed is really concerning.
I just need to rave Dr Sydney Richardson-Carr! I have never ever been treated with such care, respect, and sensitivity before. She made waiting 4 hours for a minor procedure I’ve had done multiple times absolutely painless. She is an absolute angel and everything you’d hope to have in your doctor
Just went in for a,followup appointment for labs . The staff are pleasant and as prompt and efficient as the system allows .The whole thing took about 1 .5 hrs .My only negative is that after finally getting a family doctor for 20 years I was unable to get an appointment with him until the end of June. The doctors ,nurse practioners and nurses were all wonderful.nJust went in for another followup. Dr. Mckinlay and his assistant Kim were great .Im changing my rating to 5 in the context of what medical professionals have to contend with in BC they do a stellar job Thankyou so much
The guy checking you in doesn't listen to you and is rude. This is the second time dealing with him. First time he sent the wrong forms. Second, he wouldn't let me speak and let me explain what I needed. Just told me to go sit down. An older lady had been waiting for 3 hours, he forgot to check her in and was rude to her too. I understand it's busy and some people in this environment are hard to deal with, however, most people are kind and really need help and kindness back to get through their day.
