Thanks to a rare beautiful January Saturday, we were able to enjoy cocktails and appetizers outdoors. We had the special Lunar New Year cocktails and dumplings, which were all delicious. Looking forward to many more outdoor drinks in the Spring and Summer.
Incredible drinks and food. This is such a cozy little place and we will definitely be back! The standout for me was the pistachio punch--really unique and delicious drink. The pretzel with sauerkraut, cranberry mustard, and beer cheese sauce was . And husband proclaimed these were the best deviled eggs he's ever had. A+
One of the best places anywhere. Excellent craft c/mocktails and small plates. A great community gathering place. Awesome staff and owners.
This is one of those rare times when I want to say "OMG this is the best bar in a 30 mile radius" but at the same time want to keep quiet because it's a small cozy bar and I want my spot when I want it without having to wait for everyone who saw this review and thought "oooh we should go" and get there before me. I don't want to give you details because then you'll put Kelnero on your list of places to go, then you'll put it on your regular rotation and then it will always be crowded and then we'll all have to wait for a spot or wait longer for our fabulous, thoughtfully well-crafted drinks to be served. The small food menu is also thoughtful and deliberate and I'm not known at all to order the mushroom quesadillas twice in one sitting or devour the superb short rib too quickly. So I'll just say this "Kelnero has a small food menu and large craft cocktail menu and basically doesn't suck."
These are the best cocktails my boyfriend and I have ever had! We went on a Friday night and were able to be seated very quickly! Our waitress was phenomenal! knew absolutely every drink on the menu and made us amazing recommendations. I wish I remembered her name, but she had short brown hair- if the owner is reading this please give her a raise! My boyfriend forgot his sunnies and she ran out after us to give return them. I would give then 15/10 stars if i could
Kelnero is a favorite of my friends and I in Edmonds! Extensive craft cocktail menu, nice beer and wine selection and non alcoholic offerings. The food menu changes every so often but each time I’ve dined I’ve been delighted with each plate of food. Unique and inspiring flavors. Outdoor and indoor dining options. Super friendly staff. Kelnero is worth the drive if you’re not in Edmonds. 10/10 experience every time!
So many drinks!!! And so far, all delicious. My partner, who's a tried and true PNW IPA fiend, is even a fan of their cocktails although they do have some beer and wine if you're not interested in the hard stuff. The staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and give great personalized recommendations - I'm an indecisive perfectionist and still always leave happy. We haven't had much of their food yet, but the dumplings are *chef's kiss*
One of the best places in Edmonds for food/drinks. Lots of choices for unique, delicious cocktails. If you have the pleasure to meet the owner Kris, it is worth the time to sit at the bar and listen to his story. On this night, I was able to try a new jello shot for me, too bad it's not for sale. Good spot and don't forget the patio on a Summer evening. The drinks we had tonight, Walnut Manhattan, pistachio punch, cold brew martini and a buffalo trace old fashioned.
Tl;dr: come for the drinks and atmosphere, for sure. I'll be back. The drinks were superb while the food was mediocre. We came as a group of 5 on a weeknight. The place wasn't very crowded. We were able to sit at the bar while waiting for a table to open up. The choice of music was interesting as they were playing 90s and 2000s hip hop and Rnb. Most of the table tried the pot pies which were not really pot pies. They had a flaky top piece of bread, but not a typical pot pie crust that is what the pie is cooked in. Service was good and we were well attended to. Luckily, the food menu changes so this review may not apply to the food options in the future. The pistachio punch was great. Wow. Will definitely be back to see the new changes to the "victuals". Wasn't sure what to make of the menu having Esperanto in it. I left feeling pretty unsure of what the vision was for this restaurant/bar, but would go back to try new meals and drinks. Overall, it was inviting, service was good. The music wasn't too loud and the drinks were great.
Fantastic place for cocktails and food. Very friendly and experienced bartenders willing to help you navigate libatious dreams. Very unassuming from the street so don't walk by too quickly.
