The food was amazing. Not over priced at all. The salad bar is very good also. The staff was nice, but our waitress was trying to rush out of the place at 830 so they could close at 9. We would never sit and keep a place open, but she was making sure we didn't want to!!

Both the food and the service was amazing here. The waitress who served my group was very lively and came every once in a while to check back on how we were doing. The food, along with being brought out promptly, was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. If you do end up coming here, order the clam chowder!

Great food. So so service. The chowder is absolutely the best in Maine. Stuffed haddock, fantastic. Crab and lobster cakes, amazing. We had one wrong dish delivered, 1 wasn't delivered until we said something and the drinks arrived almost at the end of dinner. The food was so good we wanted to do a 5 star review but the service was just a little lacking. It wasn't busy so not sure what the deal was.

the loved this place. we stayed on moosehead lake in 2015 and we didn't eat here until our last 2 days. what a mistake. we should of eat here every morning and night. good food, good people and good music during the night out on the dock. listen to the music and watch the ripples on the lake after a good dinner was heaven. i hope to make here again someday.

EXPENSIVE!!! $213 for a 14 hour stay. Room was above average but not worth half the price and offered NO AAA or military rates/discounts. Food was good and decent price, but service is slow. Dinning room was very slow, but you will still wait to get seated, wait to order, wait for check and no one will check on you in between. Plan for over an hour for breakfast, not including time to eat. Room has coffee pot and sugar, but no creamer.
