The Hawk's Nest Lodge is located in Maine's western mountains along the Dead River and Old Canada Road National Scenic Byway between the Maine coast and Quebec. I had the best crab cakes at the Hawk's Nest Lodge. They also served great vegetables to go along with the meal. Neat lodge type decor with some chainsaw carved sculptures. If I am ever in the area again, I will be sure to eat there again. Yummy!

Stopped in for a beer and an appetizer on our way back to Greenville from Moxie Falls. It was the perfect spot! Loved the log-cabin decor and the awesome little bar. The deck has a nice view of the river too. The service was great and they had a few local beers on tap. Though we were not staying in any of the rooms, I did get to go up and see some on them. They were cozy and well-appointed and I would consider staying if I were in the area again!

Great service, atmosphere and food!  The quesadillas are fantastic and they have a local beer selection.  Awesome deck overlooking the Dead River.  Highly recommended!

We had a great time! Our room was very comfortable, roomy with wifi and cable. The food and service was excellent!! It was so beautiful sitting out on the deck eating and overlooking the dead river!

Quaint lodge style accomodation. Perfect base for whitewater rafting nearby. Hosts couldn't be more welcoming after a long day travelling. Recommended.
