Kearney Funeral Services made the unpleasant experience of arranging my father's cremation as simple and as painless as I could possibly have hoped for. I worked with Matt Kaiser, who was patient, professional, and accommodating throughout the process. He helped me to honor my late father's wishes, and I'm extremely grateful for that. I would like to commend Samuel Li and Alicia for the amazing work they have done for us. Not only have they shown a great deal of professionalism through diligently following up all the little important details of the organization of the funeral, memorial and burial services, but a great deal of respect. We never felt compelled to pay for things we did not need. We wanted a simple but elegant service, and that was exactly what they did for us. They are real gems. Thank you for the beautiful way you have accompanied us in this moment of trial. Even though we were not of close acquaintances, we felt like we were treated as friends.
When your parent passes away your mind goes blank....you’re ready but you’re never ready. The moment I made the phone call in the middle of the night to Kearney‘s Funeral Home they calmly professionally took over - I just felt the pressure and stress just melt off my shoulders. The next morning Athena, the operations manager, contacted us and within a few days everything was planned and all we had to do was concentrate on our family and friends. I can’t stress enough how easy it was to let them take over, always respecting our wishes and left you feeling proud that you had done your best for your parent. Kearney provided the utmost care when a loved one passed away over the holidays. From my initial contact with Megan, to Athena, who handled all our arrangements, we had the best possible experience during a difficult and emotional time. We never felt like any products were pushed on us and Athena led us in all the options and decision making. Her care and attention to detail made everything go as seamlessly as possible and we were able to pay attention to the time shared with our loved ones and not have to worry about whether things were being taken care of. We completely trusted in Athena and Kearney to carry our wishes out, and we were not disappointed. It's quite overwhelming, planning the arrangements during a passing of a close relative and there are so many things to decide, but the best choice we could have made was choosing Kearney as our funeral home. I really can't echo our appreciation enough.

Christina Koh had really did a great job in helping me to handle the difficult times when my uncle passed away a month ago. She is patient and kind to guide me through all the required documentations and procedures. Bearing in mind that I station overseas. She had helped me saving my time in staying in Vancouver. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY Had originally set up my 92 year old mother service with Kerneys funeral home. They sent me a price list and set up a meeting the price sheet showed for a basic cremation 1900.00 confirmed in the morning with them in the morning before my meeting and they said actually no the price is wrong. There is a charge for cremation and box to hold body. I said how much is that 1000.00 . I said that is false advertising and told them to go ho hell. 2900.00 and they straight out lied. When a person is in grief how can they do that. I called Amherst funeral and cremation services and talked with a lovely lady who told me to go on line and fill in info and call back. So i did and call them and they took care of everything. Received my mother back 7 days later. And that was on a Sunday. I will be filing a complaint against kerneys funeral home with the competitions bureau. Wow what amazing service and for the same service. Yes 890.00 Thanks for making my day a little better
I found Christina Koh to be a patient and caring individual who listen to what my mother's wishes were and then provided me with the required options to meet my mother's requirements. Under Christina's guidance the whole process was easy and painless, plus the she did an excellent job of explaining the rest of the process using the company supplied information package. Robert.
