Wonderful service and amazing food! Came here after a long day of snowboarding and the shabby shabu experience was just right to warm us up. Chirashi bowl was a bit smaller than I expected though
What can I say. I think the best way to explain it is by saying it's a piece of Tokyo in Whisler. Customer service was so nice and hopefully really took the time to explain many of things. Also was very tentative to all our needs. As for the sushi really on another level. From the freshness of the fish to the quality and style of it's assembly. You can have a great 3 course meal here and not break the bank. Much recommended. Enjoy!
Wonderful family run Japanese restaurant inside the Westin. They really make you feel welcome. Definitely make reservations as soon as you can, walkups are highly unlikely, or you’ll be seated hours later. Sushi selection and quality is excellent for being smaller establishment. I felt like great value! Great staff as well!Recommended dishesNigiri and Maki a La Carte
Awesome place, it’s small which makes it very personable. Amazing service that makes you feel like family! I got the chefs choice and had a very colorful variety! Highly recommend. Also get the green tea ice cream! Will returnFood: 5/5
Tokyo Tom and his staff members treat you very well at Kaze. An excellent little sushi restaurant located in The Westin Whistler. The food here is phenomenal. I highly recommend it!
You definitely don’t want to miss their Sukiyaki. Put the meat in soup for just 10 seconds, you feel like in the heaven, especially after your snowboarding and skiing. This little store is very cozy, warm, comfortable and feel like at home. Their green tea flavour desserts are also very recommended which are not too sweet.
Love their delectable freshness of their meats and vegetables in our order of shabushabu and sukiyaki hotpot. What a comfort food they were for a cold wintry evening in Whistler!Food: 4/5
We had a fantastic meal at this excellent restaurant on the night of my wife's 60th birthday. We could not have made a better choice. The food was superb and the service absolutely first class. We even had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the restaurant's owner, Tokyo Tom. A wonderful evening and I strongly recommend Ka-Ze to other visitors to Whistler.
Had sukiyaki. It took exactly 65mins from the time we were seated, pretty sure the server forgot about us lol. Over priced and portions are very small. Ordered 3 beers to drink with the food, but since we had to shove down the sukiyaki in less than 20mins as we needed to get somewhere by 9 which we were already 30mins late for we had a chug the beer with the food but still had a full bottle left. They took one beer off the bill. Paid $263.89 for 4 of us and we were all very hungry after. Had the worst experience. I do not recommend this place.
Amazing place to eat if you love sushi. Katsu does an amazing job keeping up with everyone's orders even on a busy night. Maysze and Asumi provides very good customer services and are always professional and funny. I highly recommend you make a reservation during peak time time as only 1 person makes the sushi .Food: 5/5
