Good post-ride/hike spot. Deck is awesome with good weather. Flavors are on point but definitely "New Mexican" not "Mexican." Love the unique sauces for each meat. The portions are rather small for the price. Look on their Facebook page for free chips and salsa.

Perched in a historical corner of Helena, this little southwestern food joint is a fun place to eat. The staff was friendly, the food was very tasty, and (when we went) there were few people. The outside seating is nice, and the place has a lot of personality.

Great food. Spectacular views. Very secluded and accessible by either a tall staircase or the steep Readers Alley with a few shallow steps. Not readily wheelchair accessible. Most of the seating is outdoors on patio. Be aware that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays as well as for about an hour between 2 & 3 PM to switch to dinner. Expect to pay a moderate ~$20 for two to eat here -- meals, sodas, and a shared appetizer. The salsa is incredibly good. The soda is a buck more than expected, but free endless refills. Staff is friendly and courteous.

The food was great (nachos are so good! Toppings served beside chips instead of on them!) and we stayed on the patio to talk for a couple of hours to enjoy the view and summer breezes.

Excellent little mexican food tucked away from the bustling streets. It's even positioned up the back hill a bit, but don't let that deter you. You get a great view of downtown Helena as you enjoy your meal on their front deck.
