Terrible experience from entering the store to eating the food. No welcoming attitude at the cash. Chef came out to explain what they have available and when we asked to describe the dish, no cooperation and instead said, you should already know what it tastes like. Well of course not, that's the whole point. We ordered two naan, chicken peshwari karahi, paneer karahi, kabab, biryani rice. Naan was more like a super dry pita bread, no softness at all. Super salty chicken karahi and paneer karahi was more like paneer soaked in salsa tomato sauce, not cooked very well. Kabab was alright. Total $57 bucks. Poor experience and I absolutely do not recommend you to spend money here at the expense of poor customer service and tasteless food.
Not sure about these bad reviews, I've been coming here for years and before they changed their name to Karachi Nihari. I ordered from Ubereats for the first time and I had no issues with my order. Order was hot and ready on time. The beef nihari and chicken seekh kebabs were delicious. The naan here is great too. I will be back again!
Truly amazing cuisine. I always go out with my friends to this restaurant to eat. Nihari, Behari kababs and Peshawari Karahi are my favourite menu items. Very high quality food. Service is 5 stars. Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.
Tiny entrance and not easily visible from parking lots. But decent space once inside. Very oily bihari kebab. No spoon given with gulab jaamun so couldn't try them fresh as was driving at work at night. Mango Lassi was good but should be in a bigger cup for $3.95. Also existing cup not filled to top. All the cling wrap unnecessary as was a challenge unwrapping. But nice person at cash so will give another shot with another dish sometime and update review. NIHARI is heavenly at this Restaurant. It's simply the best in North America. Anyone who knows what Nihari is and how it's served wouldn't be disappointed. I come from a family where eating Nihari is a tradition & am glad that finally my quest for true Nihari like you get in Karachi is over now. Also try their Bihari Kabab and freshly made to order Karahi, it's among the very best. Chef Adil Bhai is very courteous & personally looks after the finest of details. 7 stars from me A must try! A True Gem in GTA.
Bought biryani today! It was the worst biryani I ever ate in my life. Literally no taste. Only oil and turmeric. Don’t waste your money here. If honour read this either improve or close this place
First time trying this place, we were not impressed at all. I don’t know what they call Nihari ? What they sold me was a poor excuse of it, Chicken seekh kababs were hard and dry, seekh kababs are supposed to be soft, spongy and juicy, I asked for 5 naans, They could only make three naans due to some “Technical difficulties” in their tandoor. All this took 30 minutes to produce. Sorry, I don’t think we will be back.
I bought Halwa puri last weekend. I also got Hawla puri from Nirala Sweets NS. Here are my 2 cents but depending on which region you grew up, you will either like Nirala or Karachi Nihari & BBQ KNB. Puri - KNB was best big puri vs NS Aloo tarkari - tasty KNB - NS didn’t give any Chola tarkari - KNB better than NS Halwa - NS better than KNB Price- $5ish KNB and NS $8. Given, we got Aloo tarkari, Chola, Halwa and huge puris for $5 vs NS Small puri, Chola , Halwa and no Aloo Tarkari for $8ish. I prefer KNB but try both and pick your taste.
One of the best bbq in gta. I would suggest each n every1 to try nihari at once. I am not expecting that this awesome taste i could get in GTA SAME as karachi.
Tried for the first time and it’s definitely going to be my last. I spent almost $100 on food but it was completely a waste of money and time. The food quality is really bad, its tastes awful. Unfortunately we had to throw the food as it was not worth eating and could’ve made us sick.
