Golden Spoon

One of my regular visiting place for quick take out. Always generously provide their portions. Good and tasty food. Spicy chicken Biryani usually serves two people. They have good short eats as well. Beef pastry is something I like. I don't prefer their noodles much. Pulawu rice is also a good meal to have.

I belong to a senior's club and l ordered a lunch menu of Biryani, kebab and vegetable. The presentation was excellent and it was delivered on time. It was an outstanding meal and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The price was very reasonable and the service was great. I will definitely order again.

I genuinely don’t know how this place is still in business. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had. They used to be really good but the new management really changed everything. The quality of food was unrecognizable, absolutely no flavour and there was hair + burnt unidentifiable bits in my food which was disgusting. On top of that, the customer service was extremely unprofessional. The manager spent more time demeaning/yelling at her staff in front of her customers than serving them.

01/17/23 - Golden Spoon is the best for their Malai Chicken All Time Favorite , Chicken Boti Spicy Chicken , Chicken Biryani and their Chicken Curry... Thank God for their specials. I always buy their Chicken Samosa.. Their Aloo Samosa is my new Favorite now I brought them today, it's nice crispy and spicy . Their customer service and friendliness are the reason I always go back.. Divya who I always see when I am there The friendliest person I know there at the store And The Owner Of Golden Spoon who I had the pleasure of meeting today. Kudos for bringing yummy Indian food when I miss my hometown Biryani, Curry, Firni and BBQ Kebabs. I always go back no matter what. They also have a Dine - In Restaurant Usmani Grill in Pickering, hope to visit there someday. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian option like paneer, Chana, dal, aloo samosa, spring roll. Parking: There is always parking outside the store.

Took takeout of Kadahi chicken and it was so bad like expired. The taste of curry was like tangy and felt like its been expired from 1-2 days easily. I have been regular customer and its quality has declined so much. Definitely skipping from now on

Just bought their bbq chicken and it was yummy. Not oily and spices were to the point. We have the chicken biryani regularly because of the price and quantity. Service is decent. Sometimes you need to ask if fried stuff is fresh since we had twice off taste samosa and patty. The patties sale on Wednesday and Thursday was really awesome before. But now they are making it themselves and it’s very oily and has raw dough taste because it’s so thick. I think they had a change of chef since taste is different.

A best place in town for south asian food lovers. Variety of foods and reasonable prices. Spicy and tasty foods mostly non veg items. Good service and friendly staffs. Recommended fully.

Stale food!! Please don’t buy from here!! The quality is really bad!! I got noodles and the supervisor put lots of food as I came during closing and the food was literally so bad!!! I would have definitely got food poisoning if had the whole thing!!

Today I and my friend purchased weekend special food Halwa Puri with aloo, chole sabzi . When we I saw the puri it was loaded with oilobvious but it was crunchy papad with loads of oil in it as it was made a week ago. After consuming two bites I decided not eat any further. Both Sabzi were tasteless, cold that we had to throw the food. bottom line is that I feel sick, I threw up 1 time and I still feel nausea. I plead to please improve the quality of the food. If the food was aged it shouldn't be served. Poor Food Quality

Food was good. Little on spicy end but was ok to handle. Amount was sufficient. Staffs was friendly.
