What a hidden gem! This candle shop has a spa-like quality with its beautiful domed-scented candles lining the walls, sophisticated decor, and velvet seating. You’ll be tempted to smell everything! The candle-making class comes with a free drink so help yourself to a latte or a sparkling water. Sara, our instructor, was very charming and sweet. You’re given scent blotters to design your own candle, from scents to jars to the label name. It’s a really enjoyable experience and you get to walk away with your personalized souvenir. It’s a great date-night or friend-date activity.

Highly recommend gifting this as a present to a special someone if they love scents! My sister gift this to me for Christmas and I loved it. Each class is small and intimate, and the instructor is so friendly you’ll feel very relaxed. They offer a wide variety of scents for you to mix your custom candle. The jar and the custom label is the cherry on top! The store front is also a shop for a select of scented products like perfume, candles, incense.

We had the best time tonight. Louise was patient with organizing our group of 7 women and she custom tailored out event where each of us built our own candle and Dimitri was a fantastic host and taught us so much about scents and candles. The set up is perfect and the candle lab was impressive. We all made candles that suited us perfectly. Louis Brought in the most incredible afternoon tea set by Calvin Wat and the desserts were amazing. It was such a nice atmosphere and we loved every minute of it. I had to make 2 candles as I wasn't able to decide which combination of scents I liked more. Such a luxurious experience.

What an amazing learning and creating experience. We went their as a family to celebrate my birthday and had fun time selecting the different aromas and creating a combination of base, middle and top layer. Sara without H was our instructor and did a very good job. The whole studio was such a small compact cute place with a little cafe. Worth going for an experience.

Me and my partner came here for their candle making lab and were very impressed. They walk you through the different steps and scents. Would totally recommend for a unique and fun date or even with girlfriends! The experience included a complimentary coffee drink or tea.

Kandl Artistique is a very luxurious candle making experience downtown Toronto. You can make over 125 different candle scents and each candle lasts for about 60 hours! I really enjoyed the candle making experience today, it was truly a unique and memorable. Definitely a must for anyone who hasn’t tried it.

Kandl has been an absolutely fantastic experience. The candle making class was so much fun, we learned a lot about scent crafting and what makes a great candle. Seriously a must for any candle lovers or couples looking for a date idea

Amazing experience being taught and led through how to create a custom scented candle. The staff were kind and funny. The atmosphere was warm and stylish. My fiancé and I had a fantastic time doing this. It is on the expensive side but it is an experience where you get to take something home afterwards as well. I would recommend this to any candle lover or as a present for a candle lover! You will not be disappointed, we are already talking about when we will go back!

TRULY AMAZING! I was sourcing this workshop for a client private event. I popped in to check it out for myself before I introduced the idea to my client. I was absolutely blown away. The venue is beautiful. The candle selection is unreal. I did the Glowness Lab with Louise. She is a very special soul. An asset to the entire workshop. Her passion for curating a personal experience in priceless. She is highly knowledgeable. Her staff were also a fantastic addition to the experience. We were all strangers but grew closer with other participants as we compared stories. It was the most wholesome heartfelt 90mins. I am so grateful. Thank you Dmitry, Louise and Daniella!! I will be back personally and definitely be back for corporate buyouts. Congratulations!!

We had such a wonderful experience at Kandle! Our lab was hosted by Sara - she did a wonderful job hosting our large group and was very accommodating when a few of our group members arrived late. Once we settled in, it was such a fun experience! Sara was a great teacher, we had so much fun personalizing our scents and making our candle. Afterwards we had a private space to enjoy charcuterie and beverages with our group! Would highly recommend - great activity for groups, or with a friend, and a great work activity too. Can’t wait to go back!
