Best Chinese food! We love their special Kan Yon war wonton soup, it's so tasty and such great quality soup. Lots of veggies, pork, prawns and chicken and the best won tons you can ever dream of. We prefer Kan Yon over many city Chinese joints that we have tried. No sit in, just take out now. They also have delivery service now which is awesome!
Stopped in while the car charged. Friendly service and it was ready fast. Shrimp chow mein was tasty. The sweet and sour sauce was a little scarce, otherwise the pork and chicken were nice and meaty.Food: 4/5
Come here everytime were in town! Excellent customer service, Incredible spring rolls and ginger beef best we've ever had! delisious food all around haven't had anything we haven't liked! Thank you to the staff and owners for always going the extra mile for their customers !
Customer service was excellent. Food was prepared in 20 minutes. Not only this the ginger beef so flavorful and not hard. The wonton soup did not taste like dish water, I highly recommend this place.
Amazing place if you are hungry and with family. Service is amazing, big huge portions and delicious food. Even ordered food for to go. Try their spring rolls and you will be surprised :
My wife is Chinese and wanted to eat some Chinese food on our two night vacation in Hope so we went to Kan Yon for dinner on our last night. The owner of the restaurant came to take our order, ordered some dish's not on the menu and the food was great the pot of tea you get with your meal was so good we asked for a second pot and ended up buying a package of the tea from him since part of the restaurant is a tea house. We talked to the owner for some time, he's very friendly, the restaurant was opened by his grandfather and has been in the family for more than 40 years. Would definitely go back if we get to hope again.
The buffet isnt very good. When you order take out it's always fresh and good food decent prices for what you getFood: 4/5
Chow mein noodles were exactly what you get in Mr Noodles. Sauces were thick and flavourless. Deep fried prawns were drowned in 4 times the amount of batter in ratio to the prawn. Only thing giving it one star vs me wanting to give a zero is that food was hot and the veggies were cooked to a good texture. By far the worst Chinese food I've had and I'm astonished this place has 4.3 stars on Google.
We ordered delivery and my meal was good but my wife ordered war wonton soup. The shrimp was raw and when we phoned to complain we were told they have new shrimp and was ok. We know what raw shrimp looks likes
The food here is amazing! The chicken balls were the best I ever had as they are not covered with a thick batter. Very flavourful food and would highly recommend. Plus the people there are so nice and kind.Thank you for a great food experience
